DIY Natural Pillow Mist
- Distilled Water.
- 95ml Spray Bottle.
- 10 drops Lavender essential oil.
- 10 drops Chamomile essential oil.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Use your funnel to pour vodka into your bottle. The amount of vodka depends on the bottle's size.
- Add the drops of essential oils, one by one.
- Pour in just enough distilled water to almost reach the top of the bottle.
- Screw on the mister top, and shake up your spray.

If the nozzle was too tight, your sprayer may now be working. If not, unscrew and remove the cap and hold it under hot, running water or immerse it in vinegar, then use a pin to poke a hole in any blockage in the nozzle itself. If your bottle contains hairspray, soak the nozzle in alcohol.

In our spray recipes we use filtered or distilled water to prevent contamination or spoilage of essential oil sprays from impurities found in tap water. Alternatively, you can boil tap water, let it cool and then use that water for your sprays, if that is all that is available.

- Fill your 15 mL amber glass bottle almost to the top with your choice of carrier oil.
- Select 3-5 oils you'll be using for your blend.
- For a safe dilution rate between 2.5% – 3%, you can use up to 8 drops of your oils.
