Using the app
- Turn on Flight Mode.

On some aircraft (mostly international) passengers have access to a seat-back on-demand system with movies, TV, music, games and language classes. Some domestic aircraft offer DIRECTV, while others offer overhead screens.

The new 'Xcite Inflight Entertainment' service will see the Malaysia-based airline provide passengers with tablet devices pre-loaded with TV shows, movies, games and magazine content. The IFE content will be offered via a Huawei Mediapad 2 device, which features a 10.1-inch HD screen, along with headsets.
We do not allow outside food and beverages on the aircraft. with Flameless Ration Heater (FRH) are banned on all our flights and are not allowed in either checked or cabin baggage. Can I bring my own food or meal on board?
Low-cost airline Air Asia in-flight meals are optional and not included in your ticket price. You can buy your meal either on board or online in advance. If you buy your meal online, you get discounts of up to 20% plus a free drink. For flights shorter than 75 minutes, you cannot buy hot meals on board the flight.
"Each guest is allowed one piece of cabin baggage AND 1 laptop bag OR 1 handbag on-board. The main cabin baggage shall not exceed 56cm x 36cm x 23cm and does not weigh more than 7kg. This baggage should also be able to fit under the seat in front of you or the overhead compartment."
Thankfully, AirAsia has recently started providing free WiFi on selected flights! The award-winning carrier recently announced that it has started offering the service on ROKKI-enabled flights. ROKKI is AirAsia's in-flight WiFi that offers entertainment and Internet connectivity.

Google Play Movies & TV (Android, iOS, Chrome OS): On Android devices, the Google Play Movies & TV app provides rentals of movie and TV shows. The Google Play Movies & TV app is also available on iPhone and iPad, and both platforms allow you to download videos offline and watch them in the app.
How to watch a movie without an internet connection
- Make sure your device has an active internet connection (wi-fi recommended)
- Go to "My Movies" and select the movie you would like to save to your device.
- On the movie details page, select "Save Offline" (downloading a movie may take several minutes depending on your internet connection speed)
American Airlines, United Airlines, and Alaska Air are all removing screens from medium-range Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft. American and United will keep seatback screens on some cross-country flights between New York and Los Angeles or San Francisco.
Spirit does not provide in-flight Wi-Fi, video streaming capabilities, or any onboard entertainment.
How to watch Netflix when you don't have an internet connection
- Open the Netflix app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Now tap “Available for Download.”
- You'll see a list of everything that can be stored for viewing on your device without an internet connection.
- You can search for content, too.
Currently, the only U.S. airline that offers free onboard Wi-Fi is JetBlue. The airline's free Fly-Fi kicked off in January 2017 and is available on all flights over the continental U.S. Some airlines, like Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines, offer free Wi-Fi, but it's limited by time or data usage.
