Edit the name of your Favorite location:Tap Favorites . Tap on the three dots on Android or on iOS next to the favorite you'd like to edit. Tap Rename favorite .
Swipe all the way to the right on the apps and tap on “More”. Tap “Edit” in the top-right corner of the screen. If you have any iMessage apps under “Favorites”, tap on the red circle and then hit “Remove from Favorites”.

- Tap. . Then enter a contact or tap an existing conversation.
- Tap . Then swipe left over the app drawer and tap .
- Swipe left over the app, then tap Delete.

In iPhone lingo, your favorites are the people you call most often. The iPhone lets you customize your own Favorites list. Then, you can simply tap the person's name in Favorites and your iPhone calls the person. You can set up as many favorites as you need for a person.
Delete a bookmark in Safari on Mac
- In the Safari app on your Mac, click the Sidebar button in the toolbar, then click the Bookmarks button .
- Control-click the bookmark, then choose Delete.
Change an app
- Remove a favorite app: From your favorites, touch and hold the app that you'd like to remove. Drag it to another part of the screen.
- Add a favorite app: From the bottom of your screen, swipe up. Touch and hold an app. Move the app into an empty spot with your favorites.
Double-click the Favorites folder, use hold Ctrl while left-clicking to select multiple items, and then press Delete. To remove all items within a folder or sub-folder, press Ctrl-A to select all items, and then press Delete.
To Remove Image from Favorites in Photos app Favorites Album
- Open the Photos app.
- Click/tap on Albums at the top, and click/tap on your Favorites album. ( see screenshot below)
- Right click or press and hold on an image you want to remove, and click/tap on Remove from favorites. ( see screenshot below)
To manage your Favorites on iPhone and iPad, open Safari and tap the Bookmarks button. Go to the Favorites folder and tap the Edit button. From there you can delete or rearrange Favorites. To edit a specific site, tap it and you can change its display name or move it to a different folder.
Delete a contact
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Contacts app .
- Tap the contact that you want to delete.
- At the top right, tap More. Delete.
- Tap Delete again.
To remove a Bookmark from the Bookmarks bar, right-click the Bookmark and then left-click on Delete. To remove a Bookmark from Other Bookmarks, left-click on Other Bookmarks, find the Bookmark to remove, right-click and then click on Delete.
If you want to remove a photo or video from Favorites, click the Favorites button again to deselect it. If you delete a photo or video from Favorites, it's deleted from all your devices that have iCloud Photos turned on.
How to Remove Favorites Safari on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus:
- Launch Safari on your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus.
- Select on Bookmarks icon from bottom.
- Select on Bookmarks icon if it is not selected.
- Select on Edit at the bottom right corner.
- Select on the (-) sign red button.
- Select on Delete.

You can bookmark websites using the Safari browser on your iPhone to make it easy to open favorite sites. To delete a bookmark you no longer need on your iPhone, tap the Bookmark button at the bottom of the Safari screen, tap "Edit," and then tap the Delete button.
For iPhone, tap Settings > Safari > Open Links, then select In Background. For iPad, tap Settings > Safari, then enable the Open New Tabs in Background setting. Now, when you tap and hold a link in Safari, the pop-up menu will include an Open in Background options.
Make sure that synchronization is turned on on your iOS device — maybe you've switched off iCloud sync with your Mac, which caused iPhone bookmarks to disappear. Go to Settings → Your Apple ID → iCloud. If the slider next to Safari is grey, swipe it right to switch in on.
The Favorites folder is the default but you can choose News or Entertainment or another folder you create. It will appear at the top of the Bookmarks list and you see buttons for the bookmarks within the Favorites folder when you tap the Address/Search field.
Just tap the "Share" button at the bottom of a page and then tap "Add Bookmark" to create a bookmark in your iPhone's Safari browser. If you save a bookmark to the Favorites folder or choose the "Add to Favorites" option, it'll appear in the Favorites list when you open a new tab in Safari.
