From a Home screen, navigate: Settings > Touch ID& Passcode. For the iPhone 4, 4s, 5, or 5c, navigate:Settings > Passcode. Enter your passcode then tapTurn Passcode Off. When the passcode is turned off,Touch ID is disabled.
On iOS 7.1 and above, open the Settings app and tap"Passcode" (or "Touch ID & Passcode" on iPhone 5s) tochange code settings. On older system versions, open"Settings," tap "General" and then press "Passcode Lock." Enteryour current code, choose "Turn Passcode Off" and enter yourcurrent code again.
Follow the steps below to restore an iPad using RecoveryMode.
- Open iTunes and connect the iPad using the relevant cable.
- Press and hold the Home and Power buttons at the sametime.
- Keep holding until an iTunes logo appears on the iPad.
- On the computer, iTunes will present you with the options toUpdate or Restore.
Six failed attempts gets you a 1 minute lockout. Sevengives you 5 minutes, eight gives 15, and nine 1 hour. After tenfailed attempts, the system will either lock you outcompletely or erase your data, depending on yoursettings.
The only way to unlock an iPad with a passcode,other than entering the passcode, is to "restore" it to itsoriginal factory settings.
To keep your iPad from going to sleep,update the Auto-lock setting. To do this, go to your iPadSettings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock. SetAuto-Lock to "Never". This will keep your screenawake, but still respect your screen dimmingsettings.
Method 1Setting a Simple Passcode
- Swipe right on your iPad's screen to unlock it.

- Scroll until you find the "Passcode" option, then tap it.
- Tap "Turn Passcode On".
- Enter a passcode of your choosing.

Pull down the “Safari” menu andchoose “Preferences” Select the“Websites” tab then click on “Pop-UpWindows” from the left side menu. Locate the websiteURL in the list, then click the dropdown selection menu next tothat URL and choose “Allow”
Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) isthe secure version of HTTP. All HTTP sites will display a“Not Secure” image in the address bar when youbrowse the web using Safari. HTTPS-enabled sites willnot show this message, instead they will display a lockimage. HTTPS is a form of web encryption.
Choose Action menu > Preferences and clickSecurity. (The Action menu is near the upper-right corner ofthe Safari window, and looks like a gear.) Deselect“Ask before sending a non-secure form to asecure website.”
In the Safari app on your Mac, chooseSafari > Preferences, then click General. Click the“Safari opens with” pop-up menu, then choose“A new private window.” If you don't see thisoption, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click General,then make sure “Close windows when quitting an app” isselected.
The reason you are seeing the “NotSecure” warning is because the web page or websiteyou are visiting is not providing a secureconnection. When your Chrome browser connects to a websiteit can either use the HTTP (insecure) or HTTPS (secure). Anypage providing an HTTP connection will cause the “NotSecure” warning.
In the Safari app on your Mac, chooseSafari > Preferences, then click Websites. On the left,click the setting you want to customize—for example,Camera.
Apple Safari:
- Click on “Safari” located in the menu bar in thetop left hand corner of the screen.
- Click on “Reset Safari”
- Place a checkmark beside all available options.
- Press the “Reset” button.
- Click on the Hard Drive icon located on the desktop.
- Browse to “Users > (Users Home) > Library >Safari folder”
If you don't like that, then you can turn it off in Safarilike this:
- Launch Settings from your Home screen.
- Tap Safari. You'll have to scroll down to find it.
- Tap the switch next to Prevent Cross-Site Tracking. It's downunder Privacy & Security.
Enable Cookies in Safari
- Click the "Safari" menu, choose "Preferences" Make sure youhave a Safari window open and active; you will see the "Safari"menu in the top left of your screen.
- Click on the "Privacy" tab. The contents of the Privacy tabscreen will now appear.
- Choose your preferred Cookies setting.
- Close the Preferences window.
Follow these steps to change the UAC notificationsetting:
- Open the Windows Control Panel, and then click System andSecurity.
- Click Action Center.
- In the left pane, click Change User Account ControlSettings.
- Slide the vertical bar (on the left side) to your desiredsetting and click OK.
To allow app installs from Applivery, follow thissteps:
- Navigate to Setting > Security.
- Check the option “Unknown sources“.
- Tap OK on the prompt message.
- Select “Trust“.

- Go to Settings > [your name]. If you're using iOS 10.2 orearlier, go to Settings > iCloud > tap your Apple ID.

- Enter a new password.

The General Settings let you control how yoursite is displayed, such as the title, tagline, language, andvisibility. To change your site's general settings: Go tothe General Settings page. Select your site to open thatsite's General settings tab.Restrictions, also known as Parental Controls,let you manage which features, apps, and content your kids can andcan't access on the iPhone or iPad. Before you can turnanything specific off, however, you need to enable Restrictionsin Settings.
Use this to quickly find and access settings iniOS:
- Open the Settings app on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
- At the primary Settings app screen, tap and pull down on thesettings screen to reveal the “Search” box at the topof the Settings screen.
Allow changes to other settings and features
- Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
- Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions. If asked, enter yourpasscode.
- Under Allow Changes, select the features or settings you wantto allow changes to and choose Allow or Don't Allow.
Open System Preferences using KeyboardShortcuts:
On your keyboard use ALT + F2, which opens up theDisplay system pane. Then use CMD + L, which will changefrom the Display system pane to the main SystemPreferences.The System Preferences application (basically,the settings on your Mac) is found in your Applications folder. Itis also available from the Apple menu at the top-left of the screen(click the Apple logo).
To find the iOS version installed on your device,go to Settings > General > About.
Type "Settings" into the search field and tap the"Done" button. If the Settings icon appears in the list, youdo not need to restore your iPhone. Use the search featureto launch the Settings app or check your foldersmanually to find the icon and move it back to your homescreen.
Open the App Store and tap the Profile icon in the topright then select Purchased. Now you'll see a list of everyapp you've ever downloaded. You can filter it by All apps orjust the ones Not on This iPhone. To re-download anyapp, tap the Cloud icon next to it.
You can check which version of iOS youhave on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch via theSettings app. To do so, navigate to Settings > General >About. You'll see the version number to the right of the“Version” entry on the About page.
How to clear cache on iPhone & iPad
- Open Settings.
- Swipe down and tap Safari.
- Swipe down again and tap Clear History and Website Data, tap itonce again to confirm.
