If you own a Mac or even a Windows PC, you will nolonger be able to download iOS apps to your desktop tosync to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. Apple on Tuesday releasediTunes 12.7 for Mac and Windows, an update that removes theiOS App Store from the desktop software.
Search with Spotlight, check for a new Homescreen by swiping to the right, and check all yourfolders. If those don't work, try a hard reset. After you restartthe iPhone, search for the app again. If theapp is still missing, delete the app and reinstall itfrom the App Store.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & AppStore.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View AppleID.
- Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.
- Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
- Use the options to manage your subscription.
In addition, iTunes no longer even supports anapp library, and you cannot sync apps (.ipa) toyour iPhone or iPad using iTunes. For most users, this isn'ta problem. They can continue to download apps andupdates on their iOS devices. You can use iMazing todownload apps (.IPA) from the App Store to yourcomputer.
To arrange icons, first double-click on a homescreen or folder. The selected home screen or folder willzoom into view. If your apps are showing a generic appicon, simply wait for iTunes to finish syncing withyour iOS device.
Swipe from the bottom of the screen on youriPhone or iPad to access the Control Center. From the ControlCenter, tap the AirPlay button. Select your computer fromthe list of available devices, and turn Mirroring ON. YouriPhone or iPad screen should now be displayed onyour Mac or Windows PC.
iCloud backups include nearly all data and settingsstored on your device. iCloud Music Library and App Storecontent (If it's still available in the iTunes,App, or Apple Books store, you can tap tore-download your already purchased content.)
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & AppStore.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View AppleID.
- Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.
- Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
- Use the options to manage your subscription.
To set up updates for individual apps on yourdevice:
- Open the Google Play Store app .
- Tap Menu My apps & games.
- Select the app you want to update.
- Tap More .
- Tap Enable auto update.
Try going to Settings > iTunes & App Storeand turn Updates under Automatic Downloads Try updating manually,or restart your device and turn the automatic updates on again. Ifthat doesn't work then try deleting any problem app fromyour device. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store andtap your Apple ID then Sign Out.
Apps Won't Install or Update from the Google PlayStore
- Make sure to use a Google™ email account.
- Check the available storage space.
- Uninstall unnecessary applications.
- Perform power reset on your TV.
- Cancel all the on-going installation or downloading ofapps.
- Perform Clear Data and Clear Cache on Google PlayServices.
- Set the Parental controls Settings to Allow all.
Steps
- Open your iPhone's Settings. This is the grey gear icon on theHome Screen.
- Tap General. It's toward the top of the Settings page.
- Tap Storage & iCloud Usage. You'll find this option nearthe bottom of your screen when you open General.
- Tap Manage Storage under "Storage".

If it's asking for a different Apple ID toupdate an app or apps, then they have beenpurchased on the other Apple account. You can'tchange the Apple ID that an app has beenpurchased with. Instead, delete the app from the device andpurchase it again with the Apple ID that you want theapp registered to.
If you already are but still cannot update apps,then try logging out of the App Store and sign in again. Todo so, go to Settings-> iTunes & App Store menu. Thentap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen. Open the Settingsapp again then tap iTunes & AppStore.
All you have to do is go to the App Store and tapUpdates. You should see a list of apps that haveupdates available. If you see Checkout 51 inthat list, tap the update button on the right.If you don't see Checkout 51 in the list, thenyou are up-to-date!
To view pending updates, open theApp Store on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.Tap your profile icon. Any available updates will show upbelow the Personalized Recommendations button. If no updatesare showing, you can pull down to refresh the page and force yourdevice to check for updates.
Swipe in from the left edge of the screen OR tap thethree line menu icon in the top white bar to open the menu.App needing updates will appear at the top of thelist. To update a single app, tap the Updatebox next to the app. Tap Update All to updateall the apps needing updates.
From a Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of thescreen and pause near the middle of the screen until all open appcards appear. To Open or tap Close: Open: Scroll to and tapthe desired app(s) on the list. Close: Scroll through thelist of apps, swipe up on the desired app.
How to delete an app on iOS 13
- Long-press on the icon of you want to delete.
- When the context menu appears, tap the 'Rearrange Apps'button.
- This will enter into 'jiggle' mode, where the familiar closebuttons will appear.
- Tap on the 'x' close button and a confirmation dialog willappear.
If you're still hanging on to aniPhone 5, you'll need to update its softwaretoday to keep it working. Apple has warned that withoutan iOS update, online services on the devicewill stop working and performing the update willrequire plugging the device into acomputer.
Updating your Android.
- Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
- Open Settings.
- Select About Phone.
- Tap Check for Updates. If an update is available, an Updatebutton will appear. Tap it.
- Install. Depending on the OS, you'll see Install Now, Rebootand install, or Install System Software. Tap it.
Step 1: Press and hold the Side button and either theVolume Up or Down button until the 'Slide to PowerOff' option appears on the screen. Step 2: Now simplyperform the 'Swipe to Power Off' operation and wait for theiPhone to shut down.
According to Apple, any iPhone from the iPhone6s onward can run the updated OS. That includes theiPhone SE. The just-released 7th-generation iPod touchcan run the update, too. iOS 13 won't run on theiPhone 5s, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus —all three devices are compatible with the current version ofiOS 12.
Tap on iTunes & App Store. Then scroll all the waydown towards the bottom until see Automatic Downloads. To turn onautomatic app updates, tap in the white oval next toUpdates. The apps will now updateautomatically.
The removal of App Store and an Appssection from iTunes has confused some users, and annoyedothers. But don't distress, even if this change can takesome adapting, because you can still easily manageapps, sync apps, and redownload apps and accessapps through the App Store directly on an iPhone oriPad.
How to Use Your Computer to Find iPhone Apps
- Go to the iTunes Store on your computer. Launch iTunes.
