The HomeLink® Compatibility Bridge is designed to allow compatibility between a new Chamberlain, Sears Craftsman, or LiftMaster garage door opener and the HomeLink system in your vehicle.
Automation Gates
- Choose a new keypad code and write it down.
- Find the Junction box which contains the printed circuit board with a small button located in the middle to the right hand side.
- Press the 'E' button on the keypad.
- Enter the new code into the keypad.
- Press the 'E' button again.
- Finally press the yellow button on the PCB.
Press and release PROGRAM button. Enter the old Master Code then press and release PROGRAM button. Enter 0, 6 then press and release PROGRAM button • Enter the new Master Code then press and release PROGRAM button. Enter the new Master Code then press and release PROGRAM button again for confirmation.
Program a Keypad PIN Using Your Door Control
- Be sure to clear the garage door area of any obstructions.
- Locate the LEARN button on the door control.
- Press the LEARN button twice.
- Enter a 4-digit PIN of your choice on the keypad, and press ENTER.
- The opener lights will blink, indicating the PIN programming is complete.
Program the keypad for a single door
- Press and hold the PROGRAM button until both LED lights turn BLUE.
- Release button.
- Press and hold the PROGRAM button again then release.
- Enter your PIN number using the keys on the keypad.
- Press the UP/DOWN button.
- Press the UP/DOWN button again.
- Press any key to stop opener.
How to reset garage door keypad without code?
- Reach the garage with a ladder. You will need to reach the motor unit of the garage door opener.
- Search for the learn button after you reach the top. You will find the learn button near the motor unit.
- Tap the learn button again.

- Remove the Batteries.
- Press any key once.
- Insert batteries.
- Wait for the keypad to boot up. This usually takes less than 2 seconds.
- Press and release the PROGRAM button THREE times in rapid sequence within the first 5 seconds.
- The keypad should beep and now be reset to FACTORY Settings.
HOW TO PROGRAM A STANDARD LIFTMASTER REMOTE CONTROL
- Locate the "Learn" button on your garage door opener.
- Press and release the “Learn” button.
- Within 30 seconds of pressing the "Learn" button, press and hold the button you wish to program on the remote control for three seconds, then release.

- Begin by shorting ALL three receiver programming pins together with power present.

- RX LEARN LED will begin flashing confirmation of successful erase.
- Release the now erased remote transmitter button.

Why, Hell Yes! i've used a garage door opener as a gate opener for maybe 10 years,not the same one,i've replaced it several times. i did mine a little different,i placed the opener at a about 100 degrees to the gate,and i use a pushrod to connect the gate to the opener.
These are the instructions I was given: Simple Installation: - Open remote control module cover, push and hold the PROG button on the receiver for one second; LED will go on. - Press button one on the remote to learn, LED flashes three times and stays on for 10 seconds then turns off.
While when the RF remote control is equipped with Code Hopping or Rolling-Code Technology, it's not possible to clone because these type of remote controls transmit a different code each time the remote control button is pressed for better security.
