Charging too often can reduce battery life. Charge your receiver collar when the receiver indicator light blinks red. The system works by sending a radio signal through a buried wire (boundary wire). Your pet wears a receiver collar that picks up the signal.
Important: All PetSafe® wireless fence collars are compatible with all PetSafe® wireless fence systems.
Yes. There is no limit to the number of pets you can contain with the containment system. It's as simple as purchasing an additional compatible receiver collar for each pet. You can purchase additional receiver collars online or contact our Customer Care Center.
If you wish to test the battery:
- Remove your pet's receiver collar from your pet.
- Take the collar to the boundary area of your containment system and listen for the collar to beep.
- If the collar beeps or the test light tool illuminates, the battery and collar are working.

Q - How long should the owner leave the flags up? A - The flags should remain for at least 2 weeks, but in some cases as long as 30 days.
Q. Will my neighbors' invisible fence interfere with mine? Neighboring invisible fences can interfere with each other. Two wires that run too closely together can cancel each other's signal, effectively allowing your dogs to travel back and forth between yards.
