Uber, the high-end ride service, has today announced Uber Gifts. This is a new program that allows users of the service to send rides to others in the form of a credit voucher. The gifts don't expire, but can't be redeemed for cash.
Based on our research, it appears that UBER may not accept Afterpay financing at the current time. You may be able to find additional information about UBER's Afterpay financing support on their customer service page here.
They'll be available at chains like Walmart, Target, and CVS. The gift cards will also soon be available for purchase through Uber's website, too. To redeem a gift card, recipients will need to enter the code shown on the card into the Uber app before requesting a ride.

Uber may not allow you to add or select a credit card that is already in use by another account. Uber examines credit cards, phone numbers, and accounts to prevent fraud. How payments work
- Tap the menu icon in the top left.
- Tap Earnings, then tap Cash out to transfer your earnings to your linked debit card.
- Note that if you don't cash out your earnings from the past week by Monday at 4am local time, your earnings will be transferred into your bank account by the end of the week.
Uber is a cashless experience in most cities. When a trip ends, the fare is automatically charged to the rider's preferred payment method. Unless you are on a trip in a city where riders can use their app to select cash as a payment option, there is no need to ask a rider for a cash payment of trip fares.

Tipping on vouchers. Vouchers from businesses cover the entire or partial cost of the trip price, but don't cover tips to drivers. Unfortunately, no. Uber does not allow you to use two promotion codes on one ride. If you really want to use both promotion codes, you can always take two Ubers to your destination. Take one Uber halfway and then get out and take another Uber the rest of the way.
The code is issued when someone tries to sign up for Uber with a phone number. The text is sent to verify the phone number BEFORE an account is created, which means if the person setting up the account does not have that code they can't create the account.
