To access pen settings, open the Settings app and select Devices > Pen & Windows Ink. The “Choose which hand you write with” setting controls where menus appear when you use the pen. For example, if you open a context menu while it's set to “Right Hand”, it will appear to the left of the pen tip.
Go to the Windows menu and search "Pen and Touch". Or open up your Control Panel and search for it there. Select the "Press and Hold" option and click Settings. Disable the "press and hold for right-clicking" box at the top.
By long-pressing the S Pen button, you can launch any app installed on the phone and also various S Pen functions, such as creating notes, magnifying on-screen content, or creating live messages. By default, a long press will open the camera app.
A capacitive touch screen uses an electrostatic field that registers contact when the field is distorted by a conductor. A capacitive stylus functions exactly like your finger by making screen contact via electrostatic field disruption.
And they are compatible with any device that has a capacitive touch screen.

Turn on the pen by tapping the tip to any surface. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 5 seconds to enable Bluetooth pairing. When the pen is ready to be paired with a device, the Bluetooth light slowly flashes blue. From the tablet, type bluetooth in the taskbar search box, and then select Bluetooth settings.

Other methods for restarting a pen may include:
- Lighter method.
- Blow into an open ink cartridge.
- Draw dots on a piece of paper.
- Tap the pen on a surface with a piece of paper underneath.
- Write on a rubber or rubber surface like the bottom of your shoe.
- Similarly, instead or rubbing the ballpoint nib on a rubber.
The mode needs to match the mode of your Windows device. If the stylus does not work on your device, you can easily switch the mode. Press and hold both side buttons at the same time for two seconds to switch between modes. Repeat to return to the previous mode.

To start marking up a webpage, launch Microsoft Edge and click the pen icon. When you hover over it, you'll see it says, “Make a Web Note.” Choose either Pen, Highlight or Type, and start writing.
You do NOT need to press hard. Next, use your pointer finger on your other hand to hold down the trackpad button that will allow you to draw. Make your first stroke with the stylus. Lift your finger as you use the stylus pen to reposition your cursor for the next phase of your drawing.
Pretty much anything wrapped in foil can work as a stylus. A pencil or pen wrapped in foil is probably the simplest example. Just tear off a piece of foil that is about 3-4 inches long. Then roll it onto the pencil leaving about an inch of foil sticking out past the eraser.

How a digital pen works. The ink refill leaves an ink trail on the page. The Bluetooth antenna built into the pen transmits the stored data wirelessly and invisibly through the air. The wireless receiver in your computer picks up the Bluetooth signals and stores what you've written.
Enable Windows Ink Workspace in Windows 10 without a Stylus or Touchscreen. If Windows 10 doesn't detect support for touch, you won't see the Windows Ink Tools in the notification area. Not to worry, all you need to do is right-click the taskbar, select Show Windows Ink Workspace button then click it. That's it!
It features one physical button on the side to simulate a right-click when the pen comes into contact with the display, as well as an eraser tip at the top of the Pen that removes ink strokes when it comes into contact with the display.
