Go to Options group under Search Tab; Click the Search Tools button; In the drop down list, click the Advanced Find command item.
Use Advanced Find
- Click in the search box.
- On the Search tab, click Search Tools > Advanced Find.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Under Define more criteria, click the Field button and then click All Mail Fields.
- Start by choosing a field, then choose a condition and a value to test.
If you want to perform a generic search which looks at all fields except within attachments, then you can specify the attachment field with the NOT statement and specify the words to exclude; keywords NOT attachment:"keywords"

3. Click “Search” in the sidebar to display the pane with Instant Search options. Click to remove the tick from “Show Prompt to enable Instant Search” in the Sources section. Click “OK" and close the Outlook program.

If Outlook is not searching all of your email correctly, you can rebuild the Outlook search index to fix this:

Find Old Emails/Messages in Outlook App

What is indexing? In simple terms, it's a catalog that's built from terms found in email messages. The catalog is similar to an index for a reference book, but instead of manually searching for the term in the book's index, you're search for it electronically by entering the term in a Outlook search box.

Limit Search Results

Email service providers such as Outlook interpret HTML code in different ways. Outlook uses Microsoft Word to render HTML/CSS. This can cause emails to display differently in Outlook.
The only way to permanently adjust the size of the text in the reading pane is to adjust the display scaling or zooming the reading pane. There is no way to set a permanent zoom level in the Outlook reading pane. You may need to set the scaling for Outlook if you are using a high DPI display on Win 10.
When “Search” tab pops up, click on the “Search Tools” icon to drop down and then select “Search Options.” “Search” on the left side of the Outlook Options should be highlighted. Once there, uncheck the last item in this window (“Show most relevant search results on top”) and click OK. And voila!
Outlook 365 for Windows is getting a new Search bar which combines many existing search and other options right on top of the title bar. It's now available to Office 365 Insiders and will gradually roll out to other Office 365 .
