If you are using
Android™, start here. Make sure your phone is turned on and paired with vehicle. For instructions on how to
pair, visit the
Toyota Connect site.
On the Android™ phone:
- Select Settings.
- From Connections, select Bluetooth.
- Ensure Bluetooth® is ON with a check mark.
- Select Scan For Devices.
- Step 1: Initiate paring on your car's stereo. Start the Bluetooth pairing process on your car's stereo.
- Step 2: Head into your phone's setup menu.
- Step 3: Select Bluetooth Settings submenu.
- Step 4: Select your stereo.
- Step 5: Enter PIN.
- Optional: Enable Media.
- Step 6: Enjoy your music.
Clear Bluetooth Cache – Android
- Go to Settings.
- Select “Application Manager”
- Display system apps (you may need to either swipe left/right or choose from the menu in the top right corner)
- Select Bluetooth from the now larger list of Applications.
- Select Storage.
- Tap Clear Cache.
- Go back.
- Finally restart the phone.
Press and hold the audio system power button for 3 seconds. Then a menu will pop up and ask you if you want to reboot the system.
Resetting erases all of the memory on your navigation system, including any personal information.
- Turn on the navigation system. Press the "Setup" button on the right side of the unit.
- Select "General" from the top right side of the touch-screen menu.
- Press the "Down" button. Choose "Delete Personal Data."
How to Update the Toyota Entune System
- Make sure your car is turned on and then turn on the audio system.
- Select the apps button which will bring you to the dash.
- Insert the USB stick into the USB port.
- After a slight delay, the screen will prompt you to update the software.
- Towards the end of the update, your screen will go black for a few seconds.
SOLUTION: Ensure your device allows the contacts to sync. Tap 'Settings', then 'Bluetooth' and find the vehicle with the pairing issue. Tap the 'i' icon beside the vehicle and ensure all of the boxes are checked, including 'Sync Contacts'!
First, go to Settings>Bluetooth on the phone and tap the gear icon next to the car system. Make sure Contact Sharing is turned on. If it already is, then try forgetting the phone from the car and the car from the phone (in the Bluetooth settings), then go through the pairing process again.

Tap the "Bluetooth Share Free" icon after it has installed and tap the "Contacts" option which resembles the silhouette of a person's head. Tap the contact that you want to share and select "Send by Bluetooth." When your friend accepts the contact, your phone will send it to him.
How to Download the Uconnect Phone Book
- Put the vehicle in Park.
- Press the "Phone" icon on your display screen.
- Open the [Bluetooth]() settings on your mobile phone.
- Enter the Bluetooth pairing PIN that appears on your car display into the pairing PIN field on your phone.

- Tap 'Forget' or 'Unpair'.
