When is it out? In January last year it was confirmed by Warner Bros that The Batman will be released on June 25, 2021, with filming due to start at the end of 2019 or start of 2020 per Variety.

'Gotham' Will Not Be Renewed for a 6th Season on FOX
“So the reason it's a full 10-year time jump for the entire episode is so that we can actually see where the characters are and also why the city in this point in time needs Batman to arrive.The CW president Mark Pedowitz confirmed Batman would not be showing up on the small screen anytime soon. “There's no discussion about a series. Batman already exists in the Arrowverse because last season Oliver Queen mentioned his name at one point. And Batwoman, if the series goes forward, lives in Gotham.
Although Batman and other DC Entertainment characters are owned by Warner Bros. and would not be included in the Disney/Fox deal, Fox does currently own the rights to the 1960s Batman TV Series starring Adam West and Burt Ward as well as the Gotham TV show.
As a prequel series, there's always been an unavoidable finish line waiting for Gotham. The Fox series ends when Batman begins. That finish line is looming and the end is near for the series, which is set in Bruce Wayne's hometown in the years and months leading up to his first masked-man adventures as Batman.
Fox has revealed the first look at Batman in “Gotham” just in time for the final two episodes of the series. The prequel series is set in Gotham before Batman was its hero. Concluding after five seasons with an even 100 episodes, the first of the two-part series finale airs Thursday, April 18.

Both of the characters were inspired by the Joker, but neither have been named as the iconic Batman villain.
She first appeared in the Batman adventures comic then original graphic novel Batman: Harley Quinn, as part of the "No Man's Land" story, although she had already appeared in the Elseworlds Batman: Thrillkiller and Batman: Thrillkiller '62 in 1997. Quinn dies, only to be resurrected and then return to Gotham.
