Re: Change the name displayed in a meeting.
- Launch the GotoMeeting application.
- On the taskbar (for Windows), right click on the GotoMeeting icon (flower like).
- Click Preferences.
- Pick the General category.
- Under the Session Identity section, change the name and/or email.
Personal meeting ID (PMI)
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click Profile.
- Next to Personal Meeting ID, click Edit.
- Enter a 10-digit ID.
- Click the check box if you want to use your PMI for instant meetings.
- Click Save Changes.
Sign in to your Webex site and go to Preferences > My Personal Room. To edit your Personal Room name, enter the new name. Your Personal Room name can be 1–128 characters in length. To edit your Personal Room link, enter a new ID.
The attendee ID is very important as it identifies your audio conference as belonging to your WebEx login. Enter the Attendee ID any time after you have joined the audio conference. the bottom of the Connect to Audio button on the Quick Start tab. On the right size of all tabs are the available panels.
Your Webex site URL is created from the email address you used when you signed up for an account. You can change this if, for example, you want to remove your name from the URL and change it to something more appropriate to your company.
Changing Name for GuestsTap the 'Edit' button next to your name on the joining screen. Edit information dialog box will appear. Make the changes, tap 'OK' to save them, and join the meeting. Now that you know exactly how to change your name in Webex Meetings, you can even have some fun if you want to.
Edit an event.
- Log in to your Webex site.
- Select Webex Events (classic) > Site Events in the left panel.
- Open your event and select Edit Event.
If you have more than 6 participants, you may click the left/right arrow to see more attendees. This is great while you're presenting/sharing your content with a group of students. All attendees will show up in the center screen and each of them will be in a small grid.
Go to and select the ellipsis on the top right of the identity card. Choose Delete account , and select Ok . When you click Ok , you're signed out of and your account is deleted immediately.
In the app header, click on your profile picture and then select Settings. If you see your initials and not your profile picture, that just means that you haven't uploaded a photo yet. See Add Your Profile Picture to Webex to learn how to do this.
You can disable unique profile pictures for the meeting application. Sign in to Webex Site Administration and go to Configuration > Common Site Settings > Options. Scroll down to the Site Options section. Uncheck Display user avatars in the meeting client (Meetings).
Click your profile picture, select My Profile, and then click Edit. Then make changes to your profile: Profile Picture – Click Change Avatar, browse for the the picture you want to upload, and then click Open. Once added, your profile picture cannot be deleted.
Change your profile photo or name in Outlook.com
- At the top of the page, select your profile picture.
- Select Edit profile.
- Select Change picture.
- Select Browse and choose the picture you want to use.
- Drag or resize the image box, and select Save.
You can use virtual backgrounds in meetings, events, and training sessions using the Webex Meetings mobile app. You can change your background after you join. If you don't want anyone to be distracted by your surroundings before you set your virtual background, join the meeting with your video turned off.

Update Webex Events Site Settings. Sign in to Webex Site Administration and go to Configuration > Webex Events > Options. Specify options under Site Options. Select Update.
