How to Print
- Select the file you want to print and open the file so it appears on your computer screen.
- Press the Ctrl and P buttons on your keyboard at the same time.
- Once the printing pop-up menu appears on your computer screen, select the printer you intend to send the job to.
- If needed, modify your print settings.
Click "Devices and Printers." Double-click on your HP printer icon to open the print queue. Click on the listing for your test page. Click "Cancel" to stop your printer from completing that particular job.

- Step 1: Unpack the printer from the box.
- Step 2: Connect the power cord and then turn on the printer.

- Open the Printer Setting Tool.
- Click Device settings.
- To print out the printer settings, confirm that All or Printer Settings is selected for Contents in Printer Information Report.
- Click Apply to apply the setting to the printer, and then click Exit.

How to find a printer's IP address from the printer's menu
- Press the Home button on the printer to display the menu: select Preferences, Options, or Wireless Settings.
- Check the top of the next box that appears. The IP address is sometimes displayed on its top border.

To Print a Windows Test Page:
- In the Search box on the taskbar, type Control Panel.
- Click on the Control Panel Desktop app.
- Select Large icons from the View by pull-down menu.
- Click on Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your printer.
- Select Printer Properties.
- Under the General tab, click on Print Test Page.
Right-click the Printer icon on the Taskbar. Click Open Toolbox.
Right-click the product icon ( ). Click Properties. The printer Properties window opens. In the General tab, click Print Test Page.
What to Do When Your Printer Won't Print

Several factors may cause the product to print blank pages, such as print settings, low ink, or the product itself. Print a nozzle check pattern to see if any of the nozzles are clogged. Clean the print head, if necessary. Make sure the paper size, orientation, and layout settings in your printer software are correct.
Make sure it matches the port setting in the properties of the driver. If using usb just move the usb cable to another port on the computer and see if the computer finds new hardware and loads the printer giving you a copy 1 of the printer. If it does and it works, just delete the other copy of the printer.
Troubleshooting offline printer problems
- Check to make sure the printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device.
- Run a printer power cycle.
- Set your printer as the default printer.
- Clear the print queue.
- Reset the service that manages the printing queue.
Go to the Start icon on the bottom left of your screen then choose Control Panel and then Devices and Printers. Right click the printer in question and select “See what's printing”. From the window that opens choose “Printer” from the menu bar at the top. Select “Use Printer Online” from the drop down menu.
Resolving Print jobs stuck in queue and other printing problems using the HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Windows: Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
- Once HP Print and Scan Doctor is open, click Start, and then choose your printer.
- Click Fix Printing.

1. Check Ink or Toner Cartridges & Paper Tray. Issues in your printer's ink or toner cartridges as well as an empty paper tray can cause your printer to delay your prints. Make sure that your cartridges are not running out of ink and the paper tray is not empty.
- In the Search box on the taskbar, type Devices and Printers.
- Touch or click Devices and Printers (Control panel).
- Touch and hold or right-click your printer.

To Factory Reset an Epson printer:
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the reset button on the back of the printer (normally located to the right of the ethernet port).
- Turn on the printer while holding the reset button.
- Wait until a message prints indicating that the printer is resetting.
Press the Windows key + I shortcut to open Settings, and then click Devices. Scroll down to the “Related settings” section on the right pane, click the Devices and printers link.
Hold down the paper button and press the power button to turn on the printer. Then, release only the power button. When the printer starts the operation check, release the paper button.
6. Paper Feed button. Feeds paper in the reverse direction as much as the paper has been fed by using the Paper Feed button. Note: If you have fed the paper forward by hand, you cannot feed the paper in the reverse direction by using this button.
