Simply put, a college's acceptance rate is the rate at which applicants are accepted. It is calculated by dividing the number of accepted students by the number of total applicants. For example, if College A has 100,000 applicants and accepts 5,000 students, their acceptance rate is 5%.
Your grade point average (GPA) is calculated by dividing the total amount of grade points earned by the total amount of credit hours attempted. Your grade point average may range from 0.0 to a 4.0. To get the example student's GPA, the total grade points are divided by the total credit hours attempted.

The truth is that it may not be too late. Many colleges continue to accept student applications well past posted deadlines and throughout the summer. Some schools have Rolling Admissions, which means that they continue to accept students until the class is filled.
Applicants submitting an Application for Admission to the University are required to pay a non-refundable $125.00 application fee ($145.00 for applicants presenting international credentials) by the application deadline. Applications received without the fee will not be considered for admission.

Common degree requirements
- Complete at least 60 units of course work, with at least 21 units at the 300- or 400-level (most courses are worth 1.5 credit units); at least 30 of the units must be completed at UVic to satisfy the residency requirement.
- Hold a graduating grade point average of at least 2.0.
Admissions experts say that, generally, a student should begin the application process by the start of their senior year of high school. While they note colleges may impose different deadlines, most applications for regular fall admission will come due by January.
Entrance Requirements. The University of Calgary has a top-down, competitive admission process. Each year a fixed number of students are admitted to the Psychology Major based on their high school matriculation average in the case of frosh applicants, or their grade point average in the case of transfer students.

The University of Alberta is a big school and has a strong reputation in several areas, including its Engineering and Science Faculties. UAlberta does a very good job for its International students and Edmonton is a livable city, especially if you live around UAlberta.
You can only pay for your UCAS application when every section is marked with a red tick. If you're applying through your school or college, they'll be able send us your application after you've paid. If you're applying independently, you can hit 'pay/send' straight away once your referee has completed their reference.
