Conrad (Matt Czuchry) has been fired! Bell (Bruce Greenwood) is no longer chief of surgery! The Resident ends its fall finale with a couple shockers that have to leave you wondering just what's in store for the rest of the season, especially the finale.
Nicolette 'Nic' NevinConrad and Nic have an on-off relationship. Their romantic relationship started before the Pilot, but for unknown reasons they broke up and Conrad has been trying to win her back ever since. Because of this, Conrad and Nic are together later that night, at his apartment.
The Resident's Season 3 premiere was rough for fans. Kicking off with a character death, the Fox series revealed that it was indeed Julianna Guill's Jessie who died from complications in surgery, and Emily VanCamp's Nic was definitely devastated by her close sister's death.
* Conrad's father survives his emergency surgery (yay!) — but the prognosis for his Crohn's disease isn't great, and Marshall is painfully aware of that.
