As far as i am concerned,maths is required for pursuing nursing(It is Must for practical nursing) in canada. However, you must do study maths for 2 -3 months to pass maths test( test is not that hard , it is all about algebra and other concepts you studied till 10th ) ,which is usually called as upgrading.
