A disability is a limitation of function because of an impair- ment. Deaf people are limited in some functions because of an impairment of hearing. Therefore, Deaf people have a disability.

The short answer to that is, of course, nurses can be deaf. Nurses who have hearing challenges may use accommodations at work they are legally entitled to, or they may have varying tools that can assist them to do their jobs, but working as a deaf nurse is very possible.

What Do Blind People Do For Fun?
- Go to the movies. Nowadays, many popular movies have audio described versions available for blind and visually impaired audiences.
- Attend a concert. Concerts are a fun activity for just about anyone!
- Get pampered.
- Go for a walk.
- Play sports.
- Go to the mall.
- Cook a meal together.
- Play a game.
Cell regeneration. Stem-cell therapy could potentially cure blindness even in the late stages of disease. Because stem cells can be coaxed into becoming any type of cell, they could be used to grow fresh retinal cells for transplantation into the eye to replace those that have been lost.

The sheer amount of knowledge required for medicine is difficult, but just getting into school can be even harder. Medical school acceptance rates are extremely low. Medical schools want the most academically competitive students. That is what makes admissions so difficult.
Starting from high school
