In April, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a measure (SB 140) that allows people 18 and older to buy fireworks to use on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and Independence Day. Sen. Jeff Brandes, R-St. Petersburg, called the state's prior fireworks rules “one of the craziest laws we have on the books.”

Fireworks are now legal on the Fourth of July, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. “Every year, around the Fourth of July, on blogs and Facebook and in the media, people are complaining these are illegal,” Hutson said.
The law says you must not set off or throw fireworks (including sparklers) in the street or other public places. You must not set off fireworks between 11pm and 7am, except for: Bonfire Night, when the cut off is midnight. New Year's Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year, when the cut off is 1am.

You should only let fireworks off on private land such as your garden or on land where you have the landowner's permission. It is UKFR's understanding this means it is also illegal to let fireworks off on the beach (not to mention having the potential for fireworks to be mistaken for distress flares).
One state — Massachusetts — bans the sale and use of all consumer fireworks, including novelties and sparklers. Two states — Illinois and Vermont — permit the sale and use of only wire or wood stick sparklers and other novelties.
Illegally using fireworks is a first-degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine. However, Florida police have said the law is hard to enforce. Private citizens can purchase and shoot consumer fireworks. Only professional or display fireworks require a license.
Disney does everything they can to present the fireworks show every night to guests, even if it means delaying for a short time or starting a bit early. Listen to announcements if there is heavy rain, they will let you know if it is cancelled or when it will start.

For the most part Disney's Hollywood Studios opens with the other parks at 9:00 but closing time depends on what's happening. Most nights it's 7:00. During the busy times it can be as late as 10:00 or later.
To help promote safe physical distancing while still offering great views of the fireworks, SeaWorld has identified additional viewing locations and added extra shows. The midnight fireworks display and countdown to 2021 can be experienced from anywhere around SeaWorld's central lake, with proper distancing in place.
