To manually power off, press and hold the multi-function button on either one of the earbuds for 3 seconds. The right earbud will automatically connect with the left earbud when taken out of the charging case.

The light goes out when it's fully charged. The light on mine is reddish-orange when it's charging. It will need a 2.1 amp charger to charge fast enough. A 1amp charger will take hours.
