Gwen meets up with Duncan at Area 51 and despite Courtney's antagonizing them, the two share their second kiss and officially become a couple.
Trent's obsession with the number 9 is likely a nod to John Lennon's association with that number.
The Very Last Episode, Really!
Despite competing against each other, throughout the challenge, the two constantly praise and give encouragement to each other. In Owen's ending, Owen beats Gwen after Izzy manages to attract Owen to the finish line using brownies.He is soon scolded by Courtney for abandoning her before the two embraced but at this point, he is completely over Courtney, and has grown romantic feelings for Gwen. While Gwen is using the confessional, Duncan accidentally barged in and after a brief banter, the two ended up kissing, with Tyler as their sole witness.
Episode. When Chris tells them that Owen is about to win the easiest $1,000,000 in television history and after hearing Owen's nonstop laughing and cheering for himself in the background, they finally give in.
On May 3, 2017, it was announced that Total Drama would be making a return. It was later revealed that it would be returning as a new series titled Total DramaRama.
Courtney initially does not compete in Total Drama Action, but, as seen in The Aftermath: I, she is trying to file another lawsuit over her elimination from Basic Straining. As a result, only Courtney's vote counts and Owen is eliminated.
At the end of the season, Cameron is crowned winner of the season and is given the million dollars by Chris. Lightning however, wins in the alternate ending, which airs only in the United States.
In Total Drama Island, Owen won in America and Gwen won in other countries. The same goes for all of the other seasons. Owen and Heather are the only contestants, as well as season winners, to make it to the Final Three more than once. They also made it to the Final 10 three seasons in a row.

You might have heard of it by now, but very recently, Tom McGillis, one of the creators of Total Drama confirmed on reddit that Total Drama and The Ridonculous Race are OVER. He explained why they decided to end the show but he didn't go into full detail.
Izzy states that she never left the island and was living in the woods while hiding from the RCMP. Izzy also said that she took refuge in the beaver dam. With that, Chris tells the campers to meet in the amphitheater for their next challenge.

Because of its location, Chris tells the contestants that the challenges would all be in the form of various movie genres. Eventually, two contestants were left standing: Beth (Sarah Gadon) and Duncan (Drew Nelson). The Total Drama Action winner was Duncan. Beth wins in the alternate ending.

Total Drama: Revenge of the Island
Although their interactions are initially restricted in Total Drama Island due to being on opposing teams, the vast similarities that Duncan and Gwen share eventually bring them together in a friendship, which is especially prominent later in the series.
In 3:10 to Crazytown, Gwen and Trent broke up as Gwen couldn't bear to see him changing for the worst. Unbeknownst to them, Justin overheard their conversation and accused Gwen of having an alliance with Trent. Pressured by this, Gwen told the Killer Grips to vote Trent off later that night.
Because of this, Duncan votes Courtney off and they break up. However, after the season finale, the two of them reconcile as a couple. They are shown in Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special to have broken up again, but they got back together by the end of the episode after a kiss on the bus.
Alejandro and Heather eventually use Duncan's guilt to get him eliminated. Once Duncan is eliminated from the competition again, he is reunited with Gwen, and the two of them continue their relationship.
Courtney ends up winning her lawsuit against the show and debuts into the competition in Ocean's Eight - Or Nine, playing the role as the bank teller. After she rewards the loot to the Screaming Gaffers, Chris places her on the Killer Grips as a consolation prize.
