Liar: Laura Nielson kills Andrew after a violent struggleAt the end of the first season of Liar on ITV, Andrew Earlham (played by Ioan Gruffudd) was discovered as a serial rapist, keeping recordings of his crimes in his mother's shed, which one of his most recent victims Laura Nielson (Joanne Froggatt) had discovered.
Andrew and Laura were now locked in a life-or-death struggle, as Andrew abandoned his 'frame Laura' plan in favour of a new 'kill Laura' plan. She fled to the marshes, and he chased; they grappled in the mist, fighting to grab hold of the knife – and finally Laura slashed him across the throat and killed her tormentor.
Yes, Liar Liar is now available on British Netflix. It arrived for online streaming on March 31, 2021.
The only way to avoid the truth without lying, is to refuse to communicate at all. Say nothing. Say “I refuse to answer on the grounds that I would incriminate myself.” Say “The truth will not make you happy.” Say “I don't want to lie, so I will say nothing.”
Lying by omission is when a person leaves out important information or fails to correct a pre-existing misconception in order to hide the truth from others. Some people view omissions as more than just white lies, but as outright lying, because by omitting information, you're no longer being transparent.
Selective truth-telling doesn't mean lying — or even fibbing. Nor is it purposely twisting the truth. It simply means being circumspect about what you do disclose. There are lots of good reasons why the acronym TMI exists: Sharing too much information confuses more than it clarifies.
With that in mind, here are some signs that someone might be lying to you:
- People who are lying tend to change their head position quickly.
- Their breathing may also change.
- They tend to stand very still.
- They may repeat words or phrases.
- They may provide too much information.
- They may touch or cover their mouth.
Here are some things you can do to tell if someone's lying:
- Watch their eyes.
- Keep an eye out for rapid blinking.
- Count how long someone closes their eyes.
- Pay attention to the direction they look.
- The key is in what they're trying to recall.
- Bunched skin beneath and wrinkles beside the eyes indicate a real smile.

Pathological lying, also known as mythomania and pseudologia fantastica, is the chronic behavior of compulsive or habitual lying. Unlike telling the occasional white lie to avoid hurting someone's feelings or getting in trouble, a pathological liar seems to lie for no apparent reason.

A liar is someone who doesn't tell the truth. A liar tells lies. "Liar, liar, pants on fire," a phrase of unknown origin, is a children's jump-rope rhyme also used as a playground taunt.
Is It Spelled Lier or Liar? A liar is a person who doesn't speak the truth. A lier is a person or object that rests in a horizontal position.
