In the comics, Laura Kinney is a mutant known as X-23 who is experimented on in an attempt to replicate what happened to Logan/Wolverine using his DNA. In the film, she is Logan's biological daughter.
Jean Grey (also known as The Phoenix) is the main love interest of Cyclops and occasionally Wolverine in the X-Men comics.
Impersonating Kitty Pryde Raze is the son of Wolverine and Mystique. It was revealed that he had murdered his mother, Mystique, and replaced her in his timeline.
Daken was the son of Wolverine and his Japanese wife, Itsu. In 1946, Itsu, while in the last stages of her pregnancy, was murdered by the Winter Soldier in an attempt to draw Wolverine out and return him to the custody of Madripoor.

Mystique is someone who in our universe has been part of the X-Men and has been part of Magneto's world. Her death impacts literally everybody. Yeah, she straddles both universes. Mystique dies when Jean goes back to her childhood neighborhood and all hell breaks loose.
In a final confrontation with a traitor at the institute (the X-Men's teammate Xorn, posing as Magneto) Jean fully realizes and assumes complete control of the powers of the Phoenix Force, but is killed in a last-ditch lethal attack by Xorn. Jean dies, telling Scott "to live".

Torrent is the daughter of Storm and Wolverine on Earth-9811 - an alternate reality where the heroes and villains assembled by the Beyonder (Earth-616) to fight in the conflict known as the Secret Wars never left Battleworld, the patchwork planet created by the Beyonder for them to fight on.
3 They Get Married & Have A ChildJean used to be with Scott in this storyline, but they separated and she had her wedding with Wolverine. Later, the two had a daughter called Kate.
The newest X-Men movie features a pint-sized pugilist. Her name is X-23—people call her Laura—and she's Wolverine's mini-me, claws and all. Instead, Xavier is facing off against Jean Grey, who dies at the end of X2 and wind ups the antagonist in the next film, Last Stand, when she returns as Dark Phoenix.
Wolverine killed one of the most popular characters that Fox movies ever introduced from the Marvel Universe. Wolverine killed Deadpool. Wolverine and Sabretooth fought him and chopped off his head.
Instead of destroying her, the Phoenix Force is absorbed into Jean's body while Endeavour exploded around her. Empowered by the Phoenix Force, Jean survived while floating in space before Nightcrawler teleported to her and brought her aboard the X-Jet.
In X-Men 3:The Last Stand, we see that Professor Charles Xavier died and Jean Grey killed him, and his body turned into pieces. ADDITION: in the extra scene after the credits in X-Men 3: The Last Stand we see that Xavier has transferred his consciousness to the other body.
Jean and the Phoenix were later established as a single being, with the revelation that she was the Phoenix's host body. She was killed again by Magneto after he pretended to be a mutant named Xorn (that's a whole different rabbit hole) in 2004's New X-Men No. 150 by writer Grant Morrison and artist Phil Jimenez.
1 IMMORTALITYWhile Jean Grey has died many times, the Phoenix Force is immortal and always brings her back from the grave. Since Jean Grey is the One True Phoenix, this means that she can never completely die either and will always return.
Jean Grey is a rarely powerful psychic in that she has dual abilities: both telepathy and telekinesis. As Jean, her powers were constrained by psychic barriers, but when her power is fully manifested as Phoenix, she is the only Class 5 mutant alive, marking her as potentially the most powerful mutant to ever live.
Question 1: How is Xavier alive after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand? Professor X was memorably vaporised by an out-of-control Jean Grey during the events of X-Men: The Last Stand. If Xavier transferred his mind into that body, that leaves Patrick Stewart free to reprise his role in the next film.
Many of the negative reviews of Dark Phoenix have the same criticisms: that the movie is bland and feels lifeless and deflated, and that the actors' performances reflect how uninspiring the material they're working with is.
Dark Phoenix killed Mystique very early on in the movie, but despite being the only major death, it was completely mishandled. Fox issued a soft reboot of the X-Men franchise in 2011 with the release of X-Men: First Class.
Director Simon Kinberg has since confirmed that Mystique has died, revealing to EW why they decided to show the death in the trailer. “Well, the thought process behind that was to primarily show that this is a movie that is unlike other X-Men movies,” he said.
The X-Men's greatest leader died in the 2016 crossover event "Death of X," among the first to be poisoned after exposure to the Inhumans' Terrigen Mists. Last year's "Extermination" event revealed that Cyclops is back from the dead, and even more mysteriously allied with the new, younger version of Cable.
