Go to Meeting options
- In Teams, go to Calendar , select a meeting, and then Meeting options.
- In a meeting invitation, select Meeting options.
- During a meeting, select Show participants in the meeting controls. Then, above the list of participants, choose Manage permissions .
While Teams will automatically change your status when you're busy or away, you can also manually set it.
- Click your profile picture in the upper right.
- Click your current status. A status menu appears, with several statuses to choose from.
- Select a new status.
Change Audio and Video Devices
- Click the More Actions button on the toolbar.
- Select Show device settings. The Device Settings pane opens, and you can see your audio and video device options.
- Change your audio or camera device settings.
To change the privacy settings for your team from public to private (or vice versa), go to the team name and select More options > Edit team toward the bottom of the menu. Under Privacy, select either Public or Private.
A quick way to reset
- Step One – Log into the Admin Side. Select More from the Home Screen Enter MTR Password.
- Step Two – Factory Restore the Microsoft Teams Room System via Windows.
- Step Three – Windows Setup.
- Step Four – Enter the Microsoft Meeting Room Credentials.
Direct any browser to “teams.microsoft.com” and sign in to your Microsoft account. You can create an account for free if you don't already have one. Once you're signed in to your Microsoft account, select “Get The Windows App” to download and install the app on your Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, or Linux device.
To do this, go to the Microsoft 365 admin center > Settings > Services and add-ins > Microsoft Teams. If you're using the new Teams admin center, you'll have to turn off Try the new admin center to find Services and add-ins. You may have to wait up to 24 hours for your changes to take effect.

The organisations do have access to chat and conversation. However, private audio calls are not monitored with in MS Teams. There is no capability in MS teams that would allow anyone outside private call to record your conversation.
Re: Chats accessible by admins? The Chat tab is for private messages between users and cannot be accessed by anyone else, other than those involved in the chat.

Schedule a meeting
- Select Schedule a meeting in a chat (below the box where you type a new message) to book a meeting with the people in the chat.
- Go to Calendar on the left side of the app and select New meeting in the top right corner.
- Select a range of time in the calendar. A scheduling form will pop open.
The free version of Teams includes the following: Unlimited chat messages and search. Built-in online meetings and audio and video calling for individuals and groups, with a duration of up to 60 minutes per meeting or call.
Next, click on calendar in the navigation menu and copy the URL displayed in your browser's address bar. From here, head to the Microsoft Teams channel menu, click the “+” icon and add a website. Enter a name for your calendar, copy the URL and you've got a Microsoft Teams calendar up and running.
First, if you can't see this button in Teams Desktop App, you can try to check if you could see it in the Teams Web App (https://teams.). On the left navigation, please select users and find your Teams account which does not have the button “schedule meeting”.
Regarding to the problem that the calendar tab is missing, there is a chance that someone changed the related policy. To check it, please contact Office 365 administrator to go to Microsoft Teams admin center and then follow the steps below: If not, click Add apps to add Calendar into the list.
You can join a Teams meeting anytime, from any device, whether or not you have a Teams account. Go to the meeting invite and select Join Microsoft Teams Meeting. That'll open a web page, where you'll see two choices: Download the Windows app and Join on the web instead.
To start a call from a chat in teams, navigate to your chat list and click New chat to start a new conversation. Type the name into the To field of the person(s) you want to call. Then click Video call or Audio call in the top right corner to start the audio or video conversation.
