Emirates, the world's largest airline by international passengers, has become the first UAE carrier to fly to Cambodia, with the launch of a new route yesterday from Dubai to the capital Phnom Penh. The new daily flights stop en route in Yangon, Myanmar, but through passengers do not disembark.

To get to Phi Phi, there are basically two options: ferries and speedboats. The ferry is by far the most popular method of reaching the islands. Ferries take about two hours from Phuket and 90 minutes from Krabi or Koh Lanta. The main departure/arrival port in Phuket is Rassada Pier, located in Phuket Town.

What to bring with you to visit Angkor Wat
- Ticket: duh.
- Water: Siem Reap is very hot and Angkor Wat is very big requiring lots of walking around in the sun.
- Sunscreen: wear at least SPF50 sunscreen, and if you're extra sensitive wear SPF70-90.
- Insect repellant: lots of mosquitoes around Angkor Wat and especially active in early evening.
To get around Angkor Wat you need a vehicle, no way you can walk the whole complex. Foreigners are not allowed to drive inside the park, so you must hire a bicycle, a tuk-tuk or a van driver. Bicycles are fun, but be prepared for long hours cycling and the heat.
