Save a Picture / Video Message - Android™ Smartphone
Touch and hold the image. Select a save option (e.g., Save attachment, Save to SD card, etc.).To view the things you've saved:
- Go to or click Saved on the left side of News Feed.
- Click a saved category at the top or click a saved item to view it.
Thumbnail files are stored in DCIM folder:
- /storage/emmc/DCIM/. thumbnails (if only phone memory is used)
- /storage/sdcard0/DCIM/. thumbnails (if there is an SD card in the phone)
Photos taken on Camera (the standard Android app) are stored on either a memory card or in phone memory depending on the settings of the phone. The location of photos is always the same - it's the DCIM/Camera folder. The full path looks like this: /storage/emmc/DCIM - if the images are on the phone memory.
DCIM is a standard folder in digital cameras and smart phones. The DCIM folder on the microSD card in your Android device is where Android stores the photos and videos you take with the device's built-in camera. When you open the Android Gallery app, you are browsing the files saved in the DCIM folder.
First option is to go to your settings menu and then click on the apps menu. find the video player app of your smart phone . and clear all the data and cache. second method is to reset your phone, this will bring the software in its factory default settings and the video player thus will work perfectly.

Move Files from Internal Storage to SD / Memory Card - Samsung Galaxy J1™
- From a Home screen, navigate: Apps.
- Select an option (e.g., Images, Audio, etc.).
- Tap the Menu icon.
- Tap Select then select (check) the desired file(s).
- Tap the Menu icon.
- Tap Move.
- Tap SD / Memory Card.
Go to "Settings", and then select "Storage & USB". At the bottom of the list you should see the SD card's details, including the option to format it and make it "Internal" storage. Once this is done, reboot the device and you can start running things from the card.
Samsung Galaxy S6
- Connect your mobile phone and computer. Connect the data cable to the socket and to your computer's USB port.
- Select setting for USB connection. Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone. Press Connected as a media device.
- Transfer files. Start a file manager on your computer.
By default, the Photos app will be tucked under the Google folder on your Galaxy S6. Not to be confused with Gallery, which is Samsung's app. Tap Photos to open it.
In most Android phones you can find your files/downloads in a folder called 'My Files' although sometimes this folder is in another folder called 'Samsung' located in the app drawer. You can also search your phone via Settings > Application Manager > All Applications.
