Micah 6:8, the "Micah Mandate," gives a balanced answer to today's spiritual and political questions. "What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Justice without mercy, or mercy without justice--or either without spiritual humility--are biblically impossible.
Absolutely. God has given each person a unique set of skills and passions. It's up to each of us to figure out what they are and use them, not for our benefit but for the benefit of those around us. While we might not have a specific plan, God does have a general plan for all of us.
He knew what happy and joyous things were going to happen. God had it already planned out before it began. According to Ephesians 1:11, “God works all things after the counsel of his will.” This means that your life, all of it, has been worked out according to the counsel of God's will.
When understood in context, we discover that the words of Jeremiah 29:11 were spoken to people in the midst of hardship and suffering; people who were likely desiring an immediate rescue like the one Hananiah lied about. But God's response is not to provide immediate escape from the difficult situation.
How much faith is enough? Jesus says we only need faith as small as a seed. But Jesus' words raise another interesting question.
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
Galatians 6:9, NIV: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9, ESV: "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
Isaiah 43:1 “Don't fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.” The phrase “fear not” is used at least 80 times in the Bible, most likely because He knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories.
God is God and He works all things, including your life, according to his purposes. Psalm 57:2 says, “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.” This is key in understanding God's purpose for your life. God has numbered your days and will fulfill every purpose He has for you.
As we look at the verses, we will find that goal setting is wise, prudent and biblical. When we apply Scripture verses to our goals, we always want to tread carefully because we need to first be sure that our goals align with God's will for us. They should not contract the Word and character of God.
Today we are studying Proverbs 27. “Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth” (V1 NKJV).
Having big dreams for your future is a wonderful thing! And God's Word says only One Person truly knows what will happen. Proverbs 16:9 says, “In your heart you plan your life. But the LORD decides where your steps will take you” (NIrV).
The phrase "God helps those who help themselves" is a motto that emphasizes the importance of self-initiative and agency. The expression is known around the world and used to inspire people for self-help. The phrase is often mistaken as a scriptural quote, though it is not stated verbatim in the Bible.
Proverbs 19:21 Man Plans. God Laughs.
The old Yiddish proverb, “We plan, God laughs,” expresses a truth everyone can relate to. At every stage of life we make plans, setting out where we want to go and imagining what we will be like when we have “arrived.” But things have a way of turning out not quite as we hoped or expected.
Matthew 4:1-11“It is written… It is written… It is written..” Jesus responded to the devil's temptations, attacks, and lies with the Word of God and with the Word of God only (Matthew 4:4, 7, 10).
During times of tribulation,
our faith is able to grow and multiply.

The Ways of Man is a modern retelling of the final days of Judas (Marc Garcia Cote). The story takes place after Judas has betrayed his best friend as he wanders through a forest trying to reconcile his guilt.
The title is influenced by a verse in the Bible from the Book of Proverbs, chapter 23, verse 7: "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he". The full passage, taken from the King James Version, is as follows: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Three times in the Book of Psalms (Psalm 2:4; 37:13; 59:8) we read that God shall laugh.
(Romans 8:28). What this verse means is that God in his mercy and grace will use all that the enemy used for bad, to harm you and turn it all around to work out for your own good, to prosper you. This includes trials, temptations, past mistakes etc. God is faithful and he will do it.
Believe in Jesus, and give him your life. He promises an abundant life when we leave our old self behind and follow him as his disciple (Jn 10:10). Leave nothing back, but give everything to God. #3 “and he will establish your plans.”
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. NLT. We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. ESV. The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
Matthew 6:34 is “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” It is the thirty-fourth, and final, verse of the sixth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament and is part of the Sermon on the Mount.
Bible Verses About Planning AheadDon't get caught unaware because you failed to plan ahead. If you plan on retiring from your chosen profession some day, make sure you plan ahead and invest for retirement! Proverbs 13:16 A wise man thinks ahead; a fool doesn't, and even brags about it!
Yes, strategic planning is found in Scripture. We see clearly in Scripture that Moses was a strategic thinker—or at least he learned to be. Jethro observed that Moses was overwhelmed with the burdens of leadership and shared with him a God-given plan—a strategy—for dealing with the issue.
Strategic planning is an organizational management activity that is used to set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, ensure that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals, establish agreement around intended outcomes/results, and assess and adjust the organization's
Planning is the process of thinking about the activities required to achieve a desired goal. It is the first and foremost activity to achieve desired results. It involves the creation and maintenance of a plan, such as psychological aspects that require conceptual skills.
Never let your ego get in the way of doing what's in the best interest of your business. II Corinthians 9:8 NIV And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. God always delivers to us what we need in order to do our best work.
Exodus 17:14 (NLT) says, “…the Lord instructed Moses, “Write this down on a scroll as a permanent reminder…” Jeremiah 30:2 (AMP) says, “This says the Lord, the God of Israel: Write all the words that I have spoken to you in a book.” Psalm 105:5 tells us to “remember” the wonders God has done, and Psalm 103:2 tells us
Proverbs 2:6-8 NIV For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.
