I'll say one thing up front before we get started on this: Plants vs. Zombies 2 is a reasonably decent game, particularly if you liked the first one. This is largely thanks to it being mechanically almost identical, but we can't criticize it too much for that -- it's pretty much what fans wanted.
PvZ Heroes coming to an end? The reason I believe the game is coming to and end is that no new event cards have been added into both plants and zombies collections as they have been previously, not to mention the fact that old event cards are being rotated back through.
The game is always active , and has lots of fun in it.

Re: does plant vs zombies garden warfare 2 get updates still? No more updates. Player base on console is still quite healthy. You can play solo, all modes are available for private play with AI.
To unlock the Torchwood, the player needs to open all 5 locks of the Torchwood chest. Each lock requires 15 Rainbow Stars to be unlocked, resulting in the total of 75 Rainbow Stars needed to unlock this class along with the completion of the 4 Trials.
