Just to make things worse, Perseus falls in love with the lovely Princess Andromeda (Judi Bowker), who used to be engaged to Thetis' son, Calibos (Neil McCarthy). Soon Perseus is off on one quest after another, with Zeus helping, Thetis hindering, and lots of innocent bystanders getting stabbed, drowned, and squished.

Hades used the helm of darkness to steal away Cronus' weapons and Poseidon came at him with the trident. The distraction allowed Zeus to strike with lightning, and he downed Cronus. With the defeat of Cronus and the added power of the Cyclopes and Giants, the Olympians were able to defeat the Titans.
Wrath of the TitansA decade after the Kraken has been killed, the Gods have dwindled in number. Poseidon himself remarks that nearly all the Gods have disappeared. Those who remain are Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, and Ares. Hades and Ares proceed to drain Zeus' powers into Kronos to help the Titan escape Tartarus.
CRONUS (Kronos), a son of Uranus and Ge, and the youngest among the Titans. He was married to Rhea, by whom he became the father of Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus. Cheiron is also called a son of Cronus.
An Argive princess, she was an ancestor of many kings and heroes, such as Perseus, Cadmus, Heracles, Minos, Lynceus, Cepheus, and Danaus. The astronomer Simon Marius named a moon of Jupiter after Io in 1614.

The Kraken is turned to stone and falls into the sea. Hades then shows up and is unfazed, declaring that he is a God and will live forever. Perseus throws his lightning charged sword into Hades chest, which sends him back to the Underworld.

Films. The series began with Clash of the Titans in 1981. It was followed by a remake of the same name in 2010, and a sequel Wrath of the Titans in 2012. The film would have been called Force of the Trojans.

Hades plotted to release the Titans to overthrow Zeus and rule the world but was warned by the Fates that his plan would fail if Hercules intervened. After getting Hercules to surrender his super-strength in exchange for no harm coming to Megara, Hades frees the Titans, who were hungry for revenge against Zeus.
Wrath of The TitansShe is only mentioned and shown in the beginning as dead. She must have died after Helius was born.
In the 1981 clash of the Titans movie the King Acrisius of Argo imprisons his daughter Danei *Danaë because he is jealous of her beauty. The god Zeus visits her and makes her pregnant. Angry, Zeus kills Acrisius and orders the god Poseidon to release the giant sea monster the Kraken to destroy Argos.
The mechanical owl Bubo, from Clash of the Titans (1981), has a cameo as the toy Perseus picks up before he leaves on his quest. According to the filmmakers, the cameo was widely debated as to whether to keep it in the film, or not.
Perseus was a demi-god, the son of Zeus and a mortal named Danae. Perseus killed Cetus and saved the princess Andromeda, whom he then took to be his wife.
Argos was a major stronghold of Mycenaean times, and along with the neighbouring acropolis of Mycenae and Tiryns became a very early settlement because of its commanding positions in the midst of the fertile plain of Argolis.
The movie seems to climax with the death of Medusa while the saving of the city and the princess seem like an afterthought. The “rules†of the plot were if the princess isn't sacrificed in 10 days, the Kraken would be released to destroy the city. But, the Kraken is released ahead of time.

Perseus, in Greek mythology, the slayer of the Gorgon Medusa and the rescuer of Andromeda from a sea monster. Perseus was the son of Zeus and Danaë, the daughter of Acrisius of Argos.
Clash of the Titans (2010)Hades proclaims that in the upcoming solar eclipse, he will unleash the Kraken against Argos unless the Princess Andromeda is offered as a sacrifice. After defeating the Kraken and Hades, Andromeda falls into the sea and Perseus dives in to save her.
Upon seeing Andromeda bound to the rock, Perseus falls in love with her, and he secures Cepheus' promise of her hand in marriage if he can save her. Perseus kills the monster with the magical sword he had used against Medusa, saving Andromeda.
Andromeda Marries PerseusAfter rescuing her, Perseus married Andromeda and killed Phineus in the process. Phineus attempted to fight Perseus for Andromeda, but Perseus killed Phineus by using Medusa's head to turn him to stone. After they married, Andromeda and Perseus ventured Greece together.

In Greek mythology, Megapenthes is a name that refers to: He was a son of Proetus and exchanged kingdoms with his cousin Perseus, whom he killed much later. He was the father of Argeus and possibly Anaxagoras. He also had a daughter Iphianeira, who married Melampus.
