Location: The Axiom, UK. All the WALL-E's went obsolete at one point not shown in the movie. Probably after the project by BNL to clean up Earth and make it habitable again has failed, and all humans had to leave Earth.
Arriving back on Earth, EVE repairs WALL-E but finds that his memory has been reset and his personality is gone. Heartbroken, EVE gives WALL-E a farewell kiss, which sparks his memory and restores his original personality. WALL-E and EVE reunite as the inhabitants of the Axiom take their first steps on Earth.
Yes, the name WALL-E might sound male but, she saw it as “a gender-neutral name because of the way it is spelled and the inflection they give it when spoken.” Kvaran accordingly asked. “So why do we read him as male?”
Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator
She is saying E-V-E, just with an aggressive pronounced ending so it sounds like EVA.
After the Captain blows up GO-4 (accidentally) and turns off AUTO, EVE manages to get the plant to the holo-detector on the Lido deck and send the Axiom back to Earth. And not a moment too soon. EVE gets WALL-E home, replaces his circuit board, and restores his memories.
The first three human languages that EVE uses are German, Japanese and Swahili before she finally settles down for English and say "Directive". WALL-E's eyes were inspired by a pair of binoculars that was given to Andrew Stanton when he was watching an Oakland Athletics v Boston Red Sox game.
WALL-E is set in 2805 (humans left Earth in 2105), but according to some key measures, we might not be that far off in reality.
Pixar can, and should, create a fifth film. There – we said it, even though the filmmakers have remained mum on the matter. Buzz's catchphrase is, after all, "To infinity and beyond." That's definitely more than five. Here are five reasons there's hope – yes, hope – for "Toy Story 5."

Friends

Considering Disney still has 2020 and 2021 to push out already-finished films, the year 2022 could line up nicely. If they're able to start in a few months, you might be able to see a Ralph Breaks the Internet sequel in only two years.
1. WALL-E (2008) We went back-and-forth on the top two here, but we ultimately had to go with this one, the most original and ambitious of all the Pixar movies.
You think this is the only Pixar film on this list? You better think again. Wall-E's crying game is triggered from both happiness and sadness. His innocence, perseverance, and undying instant robo-love for EVE set us all up with the giggly goosebumps throughout the film.
Re: Slightly embarrassing discussion: kids/babies in WALL-EMaybe there were special clinics on the Axiom where they took the necessary DNA for making children and then grew them in artificial nurseries.
WALL•E goes inside the lifepod to retrieve it, but just as he does so, the lifepod is launched into space, set to self-destruct. Determined to save WALL•E and the plant, EVE flies out into space and goes after the lifepod, but the lifepod explodes, leaving a distraught EVE to think both WALL•E and the plant to be lost.
What's the story behind Wall E?
WALL-E, short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class, is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet, one piece of garbage at a time. But during 700 years, WALL-E has developed a personality, and he's more than a little lonely. Then he spots EVE (Elissa Knight), a sleek and shapely probe sent back to Earth on a scanning mission. Smitten WALL-E embarks on his greatest adventure yet when he follows EVE across the galaxy.
He is a cockroach that is WALL-E's friend and pet. Hal is extremely resistant: although he gets stepped on by WALL-E and shot by EVE, he suffers no harm. He stays on Earth when WALL-E leaves the planet because WALL-E orders him to do so.
WALL•E knows love. He knows how to love a friend and is totally protective and caring of his bug companion, Hal. He knows how to love the world—devotedly tending to a barren earth. He's also a very nice guy and stuck in a what he thinks is an unrequited love with EVE.
The main conflicts in Wall-E are the influences of consumerism and the effects of pollution, a problem reflected in our own society today, Wall-E could be considered a warning of what is to come if the humans don't make lifestyle changes.
In the beginning an advertisement said ships are leaving every day. But we only see one ship in the movie.
21 EVE took the plant that WALL-E had found and transported it to the Axiom. Why did the autopilot try to destroy the plant? Answer: The CEO declared Earth unsustainable. The autopilot, called AUTO, had been told by the BnL CEO that Earth was (and always would be) inhospitable.
We know there is sunlight on the degraded Earth; Wall-E himself is solar-powered. He finds the precious plant in a closed refrigerator, which is worrisome from a scientific point of view. Green plants can't live long without sunlight.
Environmentalism in Wall-E: 5 key themes
- Techno-optimism. The saving grace to such utter destruction is that it happened when humans had developed sophisticated space-age technology way beyond our current inventions. Spaceships and robots – how convenient!
- Consumerism.
- Space-age Noah's Ark.
He collects things, like Rubik's cubes, light bulbs, and rubber ducks, which he stores in his house inside a larger, inert WALL-E robot. Wall-E loves the musical Hello, Dolly! He records songs to play during his travels and collects a garbage can lid as a hat to dance along when watching it at night.
