Turns Out Jim And Pam Were Meant To Get Divorced In "The Office" Thankfully, the iconic TV couple remained together till the end.
Although Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski never experienced romance together, they fell in love with different people at the same time. Fischer met actor Lee Kirk in 2008 while Krasinski met Emily Blunt through a friend at the same time. Even more ironically, they both got married in July of 2010!
Jim made money when Athlead was sold; but it hasn't had a noticeable effect on their lifestyle. Jim founds and begins working part-time at Athlead. By the end of the series, Jim realizes he could lose Pam, and stays in Scranton to be with her. Jim Halpert's Marketing Company, Athlead.
Meanwhile, Andy gets Erin a Valentine's Day card, but gets everyone else in the office one as well to avoid suspicion, and accidentally gives a very romantic card to Kelly, and Dwight and Ryan conspire to get Jim demoted.
The later episodes show him becoming more excited and on edge. Feeling threatened by Jim Halpert's good relationship with David Wallace, Ryan conspires against Jim and sets out to get him fired. However, it is discovered that Ryan has been misleading the company's shareholders.
Except while at Pratt, Pam didn't do so well in a class and had to retake it. Pam wanted to quit because she was overwhelmed and missed Jim.
She appeared in a recurring role in the eighth season. The episode also relates to Pam's pregnancy. Jenna Fischer was actually pregnant and her pregnancy was written into the series with Pam and Jim having their second baby.
In "The Delivery" of Season 6, Pam and Jim have their first child, a daughter named Cecelia Marie Halpert. Jenna Fischer was granted naming rights by show producers, and chose to name her after her own niece.
Also, to keep Steve Carell's appearance a secret, they couldn't put him in the credits. The writers had to limit Michael's speaking lines, as to avoid listing his name in the credits and spoiling his appearance for viewers.
Michael eventually cannot deal with his dictator-like changes and quits to form his own company taking Pam and Ryan with him. The company becomes successful and eventually, Dunder Mifflin is forced to buy them out. The season ends with Pam learning she is pregnant.

In season five, it is revealed that Karen is pregnant, which shocks both Jim and Pam. Michael asks if Jim is the father, but she tells them she is married to a man named Dan.
In the final episode of the series, "Finale", Dwight asks Jim to be the best man at his wedding. Later in the episode Jim and Pam tell Dwight they are quitting so Jim can rejoin his sports marketing firm now based in Austin, but Dwight fires them instead so he can give them hefty severance packages.
Ryan is supposedly an awful guy compared to Jim because he wants to get it with Kelly (who's basically the dumb version of Pam) and is overtly ambitious. Ryan lies to get what he wants, as does Jim. Jim is probably the worse of the two in that regard since he's 1) better at lying 2) lying way more often than Ryan.
But Carell's final episode may have also planted a seed for a new mystery — a maternity bombshell — by hinting that Phyllis and Erin are mother and daughter.
Due to downsizing, Michael was forced to fire somebody by the end of the month. Although he first attempted to fire Creed, Creed convinced Michael that Devon was a worse worker and that Devon should be fired instead. As a result, Devon, dressed as a hobo for Halloween, was fired by Michael.
He returns when to Scranton when the two branches merge and becomes Assistant Regional Manager, and later co-manager alongside Michael Scott. When Dunder Mifflin is brought by Sabre, Jim is briefly made the sole manager before returning to sales, a position he keeps until his termination in the series finale.
Upon Andy's return, Erin finally ended things with Andy for a much healthier relationship with Pete. They soon became the new “Jim and Pam” and possibly stayed together through the series' finale.
