With this update, Apple will offer up to five years of software support for the iPhone 6S and iPhone SE. The phones that won't be making the cut will be the iPhone 6 and older models. The same stands for all the iPad models using A8 and A8X chip.
Even with its large bezels surrounding the screen, the SE is compact enough to fit comfortably – and feel great – in palms big and small alike. Plus, it comes with Apple's A9 chip. It's a couple of generations old now, but it's good enough for the company to roll out the latest iOS update for it.
Fundamentally, the iPhone 5s will work in 2020 just fine. As long as the phone is in excellent condition you will get the most out of it. However, the one downfall is that you will be stuck on a certain iOS Update forever. The phone is severely outdated.
Apple states the iPhone SE is the cheapest iPhone ever at USD 399 which converts to around Rs 25,000. Mostly because the iPhone SE uses a design from the iPhone 5s, which is over 2 years old, and is thus easier and less expensive to make.

Using the same 12-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture from the iPhone 6s, the rear-facing camera inside the iPhone SE is surprisingly good, and still holds up relatively well to this day. Not only does it take great photos, but it can also take Live Photos like the iPhone 6s and newer devices.
You'll need an iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus or iPhone SE or later to install iOS 13.
The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max may have launched September 10, 2019, but Apple couldn't bring itself to put out an iPhone SE 2 to land alongside them, despite rumors suggesting it would. Following the iPhone 11's launch event, that 2020 date seems more likely than ever.
Samsung Galaxy S11 series
Samsung bookends the year with its flagship phone releases. The first big phone of 2020 will be the Samsung Galaxy S11, which should see upgrades on its cameras, specs, and so on - but the most exciting thing is how Samsung frames what's coming in the year's phones. The iPhone SE costs $399/£419 and will be available for pre-order April 17 starting at 8 am ET/5 am PT. The release date for the new iPhone SE is April 24. The iPhone SE starts with 64GB of storage for $399, but you'll be able to upgrade to 128GB of storage for $449/£469 and to 256GB for $549/£569.
The iPhone 11 Pro is the smallest iPhone with a 5.8-inch OLED screen, and it packs in the best Apple has to offer.
No More iPhone SE2 Due to Coronavirus. Just recently, Apple has decided to cancel its long-awaited event, which was planned to take place in late March. This event was a big part of their marketing strategy as they originally planned to unveil two different products, which is still a mystery to the public.
Kuo expects Apple to introduce an "iPhone SE 2 Plus" with a full-screen design, no Face ID, and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor built into the power button. This device is expected to feature a 5.5 or 6.1-inch LCD display and it will be positioned as a lower-cost iPhone.
The iPhone SE comes with a smaller four-inch display, the same size as the old–school iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. That compares with the larger 4.7–inch screen on the iPhone 6s and means you can use this new model in one hand easily.
Though the "iPhone SE 2" hasn't been released, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has already shared predictions about its successor, coming in 2021. Kuo expects Apple to introduce an "iPhone SE 2 Plus" with a full-screen design, no Face ID, and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor built into the power button.
