Japanese studiosToei Animation, formed in 1948, was the first Japanese animation studio of importance and saw the reduction of animators as independent anime artists. After the formation of Toei Animation Co. Ltd. in 1948, the Japanese studios churned out minor works of animation.
Studio DEEN has made some questionable decisions and put out series with poor animation. Season 3 was heavily criticized for bad animation, and so far Season 4 hasn't shown any significant improvement. DEEN outsourced much of the animation work to another studio, Marvy Jack, and was light on the quality control.

They have a much larger portfolio and have released much, much more quality work than Ufotable has. When it comes to animation, Ufotable is on another level. Ufotable also has some amazing CGI guys who are really good at spicing up the animation and making it look legendary.

Mappa is a good studio but their animation is generally not as good as Studio Wit's. Mappa has done a lot of quality work, but most of their titles look a little raw and messy.
Toei animes are plagued by off-model shots, costant re-use of animation, bad coloring choices, lazy or cheap practices, badly written filler, slowass pacing and awful animation. For example if i have to compare Toei with Studio Pierrot, it's exactly like they are polar opposites.

Full metal alchemist is a great series though . I would also recommend psycho pass and hunter x hunter. Personally I reckon these 3
