Remembrance of Things Past
Henry alongside his friends, Victor "Vic" Criss and Reginald "Belch" Huggins, chase the Losers down through the sewers. Under Derry, It then takes the form of Frankenstein's Monster, and kills Vic by decapitating him and kills Belch by mutilating one side of his face.
Stephen King's net worth is $500 million.
I personally thought it was one of the most ground-breaking things I had ever read, and it's not really in the top ten of the best Dark Tower moments. The best books are the third and second one, but it's definitely worth it getting to the end of the series for the ending.
Every Stephen King Multiverse book is not directly connected to each and every other book in the Stephen King Multiverse. Yet, each book connects to at least one other book in the web. We can trace paths from one book to another by travelling through an intermediary book.
Beverly and Ben leave Derry together and head west; one week later they are married and just weeks later Beverly is pregnant, making another curse broken.
After the Losers' Club defeat Pennywise, they get lost in Derry's sewer system. After coming to the realisation that they can't escape without being unified, Beverly — the single female member — decides she needs to have sex with the six boys.
Novel-wise, The Ritual of Chud is more of a battle of wills, with specific ties to silver ingots being believed to be the magic weapon to kill Pennywise. Instead, we see the active Losers basically bully Pennywise into a weaker form that allows them to pluck his heart from out of his feeble chest.
As King wrote it, when Pennywise is finally killed, the town of Derry disappears into a sinkhole (so much for his catchphrase “We all float down here”) with memories of his evil. King wanted to keep this climax, but director Andy Muschietti had other ideas.
King's relationship with adaptations of his own work spans the full breadth of possible human emotions. He's historically been more than willing to admit when an interpretation falls flat, so it stands to reason that he genuinely likes the new It films, which star Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
Horror master Stephen King remains hospitalized in his native Maine, but his spokesman told the Associated Press Monday that the author's condition is improving and he's been taken off oxygen in his battle with pneumonia.
In both the book and the films, It is an ancient alien creature, older than civilization, and in King's novel, older than our universe. It feasts on the flesh of humans simply because our fears are easy to manifest and they make us taste better.
Stephen King Loved Insulting It: Chapter Two's Stephen King Stand-In. King, who turns 72 later this month, didn't appear in 2017's It; he has little interest in rivaling Stan Lee or Alfred Hitchcock's litany of creator cameos, having significantly cut back on his screen appearances over the years.

King writes raw and real.I've always appreciated that King doesn't butter up the characters or the story. He writes some of the most flawed characters I've ever seen. He's an unapologetic writer, and I think it's sort of refreshing. He's very good at showing us the parts of humanity we don't want to think about.
Carrie (Teen: Strong violence and language, including sexual and drug material) Carrie is an excellent novel written by Stephen King. It's narrated by a teen girl, which is an perfect book for teens to relate to about bullying.
There are many reviews from parents stating that the book is a nightmare for kids below 16. So you may have to wait a while before reading it as the book is not child friendly. You can watch the movie instead. The book is always better, actually best, but in this case you better watch the movie for now.
Parents need to know that despite its high nostalgia factor and preteen stars, Stand by Me should by no means be considered a children's movie. Kids and teens also smoke and drink, and a dead body is shown.

Speaking exclusively to GoodtoKnow, child psychologist Emma Citron explains that while the show is totally inappropriate for primary school children, it could be a good way to start meaningful conversations with secondary school children, aged 11 to 16.
Stranger Things may be a creepy, somewhat violent, and intense sci-fi series about a dangerous creature preying on children, but at the heart of it all, it's a show about courage and friendship that's fun to watch. That said, it's definitely one for a teen audience, including mature tweens.
