Nashville water park opens this weekend: See Opryland Resort's 'Soundwaves' Get ready for SoundWaves. Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, billed as a first-of-its-kind water and music attraction, is set to open Saturday, Dec. 1.
Two of the pools, the Relache Indoor Pool and the Cascades Outdoor Pool, are located in the westernmost part of the hotel near the Cascades and the third pool, the Magnolia Outdoor Pool is located in the eastern part of the hotel in the Magnolia. All three pools are perfect for relaxing and socializing.
SoundWaves is the nation's first truly upscale indoor/outdoor resort water attraction, fusing music and water to create an exclusive modern oasis with something for everyone-from incredible thrill rides to relaxing indulgences. All SoundWaves Experience Packages include: - Room accommodations at Gaylord Opryland Resort.
The Wildhorse Shuttle provides transportation back and forth from Opryland to downtown Nashville, with stops at the Ryman Auditorium, the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Wildhorse Saloon. The shuttle runs from 10 a.m. to 11:35 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 1:35 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Re: Better to stay in Opryland or Downtown? Downtown is right in the heart of the lower Broadway honky tonks, with plenty of night life, bars, restaurants, museums, and live music all easy walking distance from your hotel. Most visitors who want the “Nashville experience” will probably be happier staying in this area.
