No country currently has the country code of 35. However, many small European countries have codes that begin with the numbers three and five, namely Finland (358), Gibraltar (350), Ireland (353), Portugal (351), Albania (355), Bulgaria (359), Cyprus (357), Iceland (354), Luxembourg (352), and Malta (356).
Almost all UK phone numbers, including the code, are 11 digits long. There are a few areas with 10 digits but not many. This leads to confusion as people not familiar with the area do not know which digits to dial and end up dialling all 11 digits when fewer digits would be enough.
It's easy to set up your 7-digit number dialing. For example, if you set your area code to “555”, you could dial a main local number by dialing “123-4567” and the “555” is be automatically inserted into the call.

Thus, if phone numbers were to have 2 digits, how many different number combinations would be available? 10 x 10 = 100. Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan. Land-line # starts with 8 followed by 8 or 9 digits.
It's going to end up looking a little ridiculous, but a phone call to Europe usually requires more than one prefix:
- Punch in "011"
- Enter the country code.
- If the receiving number has an area or city code, dial "0" after the country code.
- Enter the area or city code (if applicable)
- Enter the phone number.
How to Call the US from Europe
- Dial the International Access Code (00 if calling from Europe, or enter + if calling from any mobile device).
- Dial the Country Code, which is 1 if you are calling the US or Canada.
- Dial the Phone Number you wish to call, including the local area code in the United States.
Telephone Numbering Scheme in India. India's national numbering format is 10-digit for both land line phone as well as cellular phone services. This 10-digit format is expected to remain for another 30 years. The subscriber's phone number is 6, 7 or 8-digit long depending upon the length of the STD code.
To produce the + code in an international phone number, press and hold down the 0 key on the Phone app's dialpad. Then type the country prefix and the phone number. Touch the Dial Phone icon to complete the call.

When the 13-digit numbers come into play, India will have the longest mobile numbers (excluding country code). So far, China is the only country with 11-digit mobile numbers.

With very few exceptions, UK telephone numbers have ten digits after the leading zero trunk code or +44 country code. Indeed, all UK telephone numbers starting 02, 03, 05, 07 or 09 fit that pattern.
There is current no country that has the code +99, but if we add numerical suffixes: +992 – Tajikistan. +993 – Turkmenistan. +994 – Azerbaijan.
Smallest 11-digit number
This number is called ten billion.Say for example your phone number is 0412 345 678. To write in international format, remove the 0 from the beginning and add a +61, turning it into +61 412 345 678. This works for all mobile and landline numbers.
