He was eventually possessed by The Mind Flayer, which used his body to kidnap various residents of Hawkins in order to build The Spider Monster. His conscience was unearthed by Eleven, and he sacrifices himself to save her where he apologized to his stepsister for all of his misdeeds before dying.

VHS Tape #1: “Found inside Hawkin's Lab.” After you beat the Evil Scientist boss in Hawkin's Laboratory, enter the room just right of where the boss fight took place. The first VHS Tape is there. VHS Tape #2: “Found deep in the Forest Maze.” Tape #2 is in a room to the northwest of the Forest Maze boss room.
Move about very slowly and carefully. Use Dustin to throw pudding on floor switches to attract regular guards to them. That will usually turn on a laser that kills the elite guards. Avoid the flashlights and be careful that you're not standing in the way of a laser when it turns on.
Stranger Things: The Game - All GnomesThere are 12 gnomes total. Gnomes are required to open the chests in Phil Larsen's house, located west of the High School in Stranger Things: The Game.
To unlock Erica in Stranger Things 3: The Game, you'll need to finish the “Scoop Troop” story mission, the same one that added Steve to your crew. When it's finished, Erica will agree to join you.

Lucas' manual, however, has been lost. It is in the yard left of Max's House, which is the left-most house on the top row. Take all three manuals back to Will and after a short cutscene you will be transported to Castle Byers. Find Will again and talk to him and he'll finally join your party.
To kill the Tentacle Hydra you have to use the laser beams to make damage to it, and be careful not to die when the reinforcements come.

The eighth and final Eggo can be found inside of Bradley's Big Buy. After you get Nancy, head to Bradley's Big Buy store at any point and head inside. Walk past the clerk to the northeastern corner of the store.
In some places there will be logs or other objects you can't move and you will have to use the bear to break them down. To do this, play as Lucas and shoot down the beehives along the path across the obstacle you can't pass. The bear will follow the honey trail and trample the logs for you.
Now you should be able to go to the Hazmat Gunner boss. The strategy to beat him is to wait until he starts to shot his gun. Then go around him and punch him from behind. To finish the chapter you must find Dustin, at the Library.
Grab it and head inside Hawkins National Laboratory. In this dungeon you can bash cabinets and barrels for money and hearts. There are a few things you can interact with and smash in this room but all you need to do is get the keycard from the chest, then take the north door to the next room.
