Zeolites are minerals that contain mainly aluminum and silicon compounds. They are used as drying agents, in detergents, and in water and air purifiers. Zeolites are also marketed as dietary supplements to treat cancer, diarrhea, autism, herpes, and hangover, and to balance pH and remove heavy metals in the body.
How long does it take Zeolite to work? Zeolite works immediately. As soon as you take one dose, it will immediately start detoxing.

Zeolite is not absorbed in your body. It simply passes through your blood stream collecting positively charged toxic elements and then is excreted. Therefore you cannot overdose on zeolite and you cannot poison yourself with zeolite as long as you are using a clean zeolite designed for human consumption.
Sodium zeolite is also capable of reducing iron levels, to some degree, by way of its absorption and ion-exchange properties.
Zeolite decreased renal ammonium excretion and fecal biogenic amines. The data indicate an increased detoxification rate of ammonia by arginine and ornithine supplementation. However, as urea was not increasingly excreted, detrimental effects on renal function cannot be excluded.
Even though there are several synthetic or natural occurring species of zeolites, the most widespread and studied is the naturally occurring zeolite clinoptilolite (ZC). ZC is an excellent detoxifying, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent.

Diatomaceous earth (DE) is a substance made up of the tiny, fossilized exoskeletons of tiny single-celled organisms known as diatoms. It is extremely porous at the microscopic level. Zeolites are crystalline, hydrated aluminosilicates with very rigid structures.
Adsorption: Zeolites are used to adsorb a variety of materials. This includes applications in drying, purification, and separation. They can remove water to very low partial pressures and are very effective desiccants, with a capacity of up to more than 25% of their weight in water.
As previously stated, zeolite must be removed once it is exhausted. If the ammonia is gone or nearly gone, it is not necessary to replace the zeolite in the filter. Instead, use standard media. If zeolite is recharged, it should be discarded after two to three months of use, and replaced with new zeolite.
Zeolites are microporous, three dimensional crystalline solid of aluminium silicate. The chemical formula of zeolites is Na2Al2Si2O8.xH2O. Zeolites have small openings of fixed size in them which allow small molecules to pass through them easily but larger molecules cannot pass through them.
i. A base exchange method of treating hard water, in which zeolites, contained in a tank, remove salts. The zeolite layer is regenerated by backflushing with brine.
