The most straightforward method of earning D Medals is to complete side story missions. After you've completed them, they give you a series of rewards, and one of them is usually a D Medal.
How To Farm Z Orbs Fast

Unusually, you don't really earn any money in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot by emerging victorious in battle. Instead, you have to make money yourself by selling items. While you can pretty much sell any item in your inventory in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot by visiting a vendor, there are certain items that have no other use.
To find the premium golden venison in the DBZ Kakarot Buu the Bottomless Pit sub quest, head out of your house after speaking with Chi-Chi and follow the river to the northeast, towards the waterfall. As you do that, keep an eye out on the left for an NPC talking about premium golden venison.

Your best bet to find Refined Iron is to head to one of the more open areas such as Black Bog or Gizard Wasteland. Once you get there, open up the area map and look at the legend on the right to see the icon for Mineral Deposit. Look for any you find on the map and set a marker and head over to it.
