In Heart Gold & Soul Silver, these Pokémon are obtained by visiting Steven Stone in Silph Co.in Saffron City after you have defeated Red. Cyndaquil is one of the best choices to make for a starter in HG/SS. It has the ability — blaze, which raises the power of fire attacks. And it specializes in the special attack and speed stats. Using Cyndaquil you'll have very few problems going up against Johto gym leaders.
You can get one of the Johto starter Pokémon from Professor Elm at the beginning of the game. You can get one of the Kanto starter Pokémon from Professor Oak after beating Red. You can get one of the Hoenn starter Pokémon from Steven after beating Red.
Mudkip, considering stats, in-game competitors, and weaknesses, is the best starter for Hoenn. When Mega Swampert makes an appearance, beware. Froakie is unavailable in Pokémon Sword & Shield and cannot be transferred to either of those games from Pokémon HOME. You can still obtain it in earlier versions of Pokémon games and can still collect it for your National Pokédex in Pokémon HOME.

Treecko evolves into Grovyle which costs 25 Candy, which then evolves into Sceptile costing 100 Candy.
Even if you breed Ditto with a male Pokémon, the egg that it produces will hatch into the father's form. This is particularly useful when it comes to the starter Pokémon. Overview. Objectively, for the game specifically, and especially for Pokémon Sword, Sobble is the best choice. That said, choosing Sobble will make the start of the game tough, especially for new players.

The easiest way to get a Grookey is to trade with a friend. Breed an extra Scorbunny or Sobble, whichever you picked, and trade it for a friend's Grookey. If you don't have a friend who's willing to trade, you'll have to turn to the internet.Feb 9, 2020
