So you can buy a S Pen separately or better yet, just get a bamboo Pen which is more comfortable to use. From my understanding, the newer Galaxy Tablets will support Wacom pens which is what the S Pen actually is (Wacom technology).
And they are compatible with any device that has a capacitive touch screen.

- Open up Settings.
- Scroll down, locate and select S Pen.
- Check the box entitled S Pen Alerts.
Samsung has several solutions you can try if your S Pen is malfunctioning: Perform a soft reset by holding down the volume down key for 10 seconds. Ensure your S Pen is connected properly. Head to Settings > Advanced features > S Pen > S Pen remote, and then make sure the switch is toggled on.
As with the camera, you can customize how the button on the S Pen controls the presentation. Go to Settings > Advanced Features > S Pen > S Pen Remote and use the App Action links under PowerPoint to assign a single or double press to move the presentation to the Next Slide or Previous Slide.
In order to use the S Pen for scrolling, hold the S Pen button and flick the S Pen up or down based on how you want to scroll the contents present on your phone's screen.
Pair Surface Pen
- Go to Start > Settings > Devices > Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth .
- Press and hold the top button of your pen for 5-7 seconds until the LED flashes white to turn on Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Select your pen to pair it to your Surface.

Setting up the Galaxy Note 10 as a drawing tablet for your computer

- After you've set up the server app on your computer, open the VirtualTablet app on your Gaalxy Note 10 and choose a connection method.
Navigate to Settings > Advanced Features > S Pen > S Pen Remote > Camera. Under App Actions, you'll see a section called Camera. This controls what action your S Pen performs when you click the Pen's button once, and when you click it twice.
The potentiometer on the LEFT in the picture above and below is the one you will be adjusting. Using a razor or small screwdriver, you can turn the potentiometer clockwise to decrease sensitivity and counter-clockwise to increase it. Test it out and see if it works to your liking, then put the button back on.
