Dashboard in Asana is a data dashboard that displays key performance indicators relating to specific projects.
Asana Premium costs $10.99 per user per month when billed annually and $13.49 per user per month when billed monthly.
To create the reports, all you need to do is multi-select the tasks and sections you want to turn into a report/PDF. This means you can skip some tasks within a project if you want. It works for My Tasks, Projects, and even Search Reports.

Steps to Export Asana to Excel
- Step 1 – Log in to Asana, and open the project that you want to export.
- Step 2 – Click on the Project Actions Menu.
- Step 3 – Once you are in the menu, click on the drop-down arrow, click on Export, and then CSV.

About the Google Calendar and Asana integrationSync your Asana tasks to your Google Calendar so you can stay on top of work and hit your deadlines. With this integration, you can sync any project or My Tasks list to your Google Calendar. Tasks with due dates will show up as all day events.
To create a task in your project via email, send an email to x+projectID@mail.asana.com . For example, if your projectID is 123 , you would email x+123@mail.asana.com . Create tasks straight from your email inbox with the Asana for Gmail add-on or the Asana for Outlook add-in.
If you scroll a little higher in the task, below the description and just below Add to Project, you should see the actual attachment with a paper clip to the far left. You can delete it from there.

Add a simple project note
- On the File tab, choose Info.
- On the right side of the screen, choose Project Information, choose Advanced Properties, and then select the Summary tab.
- In the Comments box, type the content of the note, and then choose OK.
The Asana API is a RESTful interface, providing programmatic access to much of the data in the system. The API accepts JSON or form-encoded content in requests and returns JSON content in all of its responses, including errors.
If you have multiple accounts and would like to merge them into one, you can add the email address associated with one account to the other account from your Profile Settings. Read more. To find your Asana Personal Access Token:
- Log in to Asana.
- From the My Profile Settings dialogue, navigate to the Apps tab.

- Access actions for the project, My Tasks, or Search View you're currently viewing (indicated by the down arrow icon)
- Favorite the project or My Tasks list you're currently viewing (indicated by the star icon)
- Set a status for your project.
