The main difference is that Sling Orange offers Disney and other Disney-owned channels like ESPN, several ESPN secondary channels, and Freeform. Orange tacks six additional channels onto the base offering, while Blue gets you an additional 21 channels.

Sling TV is rolling out a refreshed user interface that should allow for faster flipping through video channels. Xbox One users are getting the update first, but there's no word on timing for other devices such as Roku and Android TV. Sling is also making its on-demand interface easier to navigate.
Can I watch OWN with Sling TV? Sling TV does not offer OWN with the streaming service. Sling TV supports a wide-range of devices to stream including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Roku, iPhone/iPad, Web Browsers, Android Phone/Tablet, Android TV, Xbox, Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, and VIZIO Smart TV.
To get started, from your My TV screen, scroll down to the Add Premium Channels & More ribbon. There, you'll see a list of available services you're not currently subscribed to, such as Cloud DVR, Kids Extra, Sports Extra, or premium channels like Showtime. Once you find a service you like select Add.
First scroll to the right on your menu and choose Settings. Then visit your Account. Here you can change your service by clicking Add/Remove Service. After clicking Add/Remove Service you can change to the Sling Orange base service, the Sling Blue base service, or select both Sling Orange and Sling Blue base services.
Visit pay.amazon.com, and sign in using your Amazon account credentials. Locate the Sling TV L.L.C merchant agreement, and select Details. Under Payment Method, select Change. Add a new payment method, or select an existing payment method.
As a Sling TV customer, you will be billed in advance at the beginning of your 30-day service period. The day of the month your bill is charged is based on the date you signed up for Sling TV, for example, if you signed up on November 7th, your bill will reoccur 30 days later on December 7th.

If you're having trouble logging in to the SLING app or your account, there may be an issue with one of the following: Your Email Address. Your Password. Unauthorized Access to Your Account.
To update your credit card information, start by visiting sling.com/account and signing in to your account. Next, click Update Payment Information. Here you can edit or change your credit card on file and your billing information. To save your changes click UPDATE BILLING INFORMATION.
Sports ExtraWith this add-on, Sling Orange subscribers will get 15 additional sports channels – ACC Network, ACC Network Extra, beIN SPORTS, ESPNews, ESPNU, Longhorn Network, MLB Network, MLB Strike Zone, NBA TV, NHL Network, Outside TV, Pac-12 Network, SEC Network, SEC Network+ and Tennis Channel.
Included in $30 per month Sling Blue packageSling Orange includes multiple sports channels, most notably a suite of ESPN channels including ESPN, ESPN 2, and ESPN 3. Sling Blue, on the other hand, drops the sports but adds in networks like FX, and Discovery, plus Fox and NBC in select markets.
Sling is one of the most affordable cord-cutting services on the market, offering two packages — Orange and Blue — with over 30 live channels starting at $30 a month, or combined for $45 a month. Orange features the Disney Channel and ESPN, while Blue offers a slate of Fox channels, NBC, Bravo, and Discovery.
Sling TV does not offer Fox Sports Sun with the streaming service. Sling TV is not available to stream on PlayStation and Nintendo.

Sling TV Goes Free, Offers Free On-Demand Content for Non-Subscribers.
Sling Blue costs $30 per month and gives you access to 47 live channels. However, Blue does not include every Orange channel by default; there's no Disney and no ESPN, for starters. Sling Blue users also have the opportunity to watch NBC stations, including NBC, USA, Bravo and SyFy.
Customers can use their Sling TV credentials to watch ESPN and ESPN2 on the WatchESPN app from Internet-connected devices. This is available at no additional cost to all customers who subscribe to the “Best of Live TV” core package.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Check Your Connection. Make sure your internet speed is strong enough for streaming SLING on your device.
- Change Channels. For issues with programming on a specific channel, try changing channels, then change back to the original channel.
- Relaunch The App.
- Update The App.
- Reinstall The App.
- Restart Your Device.
Re: Sling does not loadWe'd recommend trying to remove the SlingTV channel from the Roku home screen (go to the channel tile, press the * key and choose 'Remove channel'), restart your Roku device, then once the device restarts, go ahead and add the channel back once more.
Freezing and buffering issues are most likely caused by either Sling TV server problems or your internet and wifi connection issues. Now occasional freezing or buffering will still happen from time to time, but restarting Sling should fix temporary streaming hiccups. Close out of the Sling app and then relaunch it.
Windows 10
- Right-click on the Start menu, then select Apps and Features.
- Scroll down or use the search tool to locate the Sling TV app.
- When you find it, click the Sling icon, then select Uninstall.
- Follow any on-screen instructions and allow the app to uninstall.

Clear Cache & Data
- From the device home screen, locate the Settings.
- Select Apps > See All Apps.
- Scroll down and select SLING TV.
- Select Clear Cache > OK.
1.Force stop the Sling app
- From the home screen > Settings.
- Select Apps > Sling TV.
- Click on the Force Stop then re-launch the app.
You can find this screen by pressing the Home button on your remote, then selecting Apps, and finally, My Apps. If you don't see the Sling TV app on this screen, click here to make sure that your Smart TV is compatible with Sling TV. Once the app is located, select Install to download the Sling TV app on your Smart TV.
