Chrome (Android)

Change your default location settings
- On your computer, open Chrome.

The default location for saving the files you download with Microsoft Edge is "C:UsersYour usernameDownloads" . However, you might prefer saving your downloads in another folder, of your choosing. If that's the case for you, click or tap on the Change button from the Downloads settings section.
This could be in another state or even miles away from your correct location. There may be other reasons as well that can lead to the wrong location information. All you need to have is a stable internet connection and a device with a web browser. After you let where-am-i.net show your location, my location now with latitude and longitude will appear in the form above. To see your location on the map you have to let your browser share your location.
Head to the Settings > Privacy > Location screen in the Settings app. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you'll see a list of apps that can access your location.
Your computer doesn't know or care where you are. Some websites you visit will attempt to guess where you are based mainly on your IP address. They mostly do this by buying a database from a marketing company that compiles and sells lists correlating IP ranges with approximate physical locations.
How to disable location tracking for all accounts on your Windows 10 PC

Location issues are often caused by a weak GPS signal. If you can't see the sky, you'll have a weak GPS signal and your position on the map might not be correct. Navigate to Settings > Location > and make sure Location is ON. Navigate to Settings > Loction > Sources Mode and tap High Accuracy.
Turn location on or off for your phone

Location Spoofing on Desktop
- Access the “Menu” by clicking on top right corner of Chrome's toolbar.

- Now select “Location.”
- Turn on “Ask before Accessing” feature.

Geo-location of your IP. We have a database mapping IP addresses to rough (approximately city-level) locations. Through the W3C Geolocation API, which allows your browser to use various signals (such as visible wifi networks or a GPS) to calculate an accurate location and share that with a site.
Press Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows or Chrome OS, or Cmd+Option+I on macOS. The developer console will open on the right side of the screen. At the bottom of the panel, press the three-dot button on the left, and then click the “Sensors” option. Under Geolocation, select “Custom location.”
Request a location correction
- Ask your content provider which geolocation provider they use and how to contact them.
- Wait for the geolocation provider to approve your request. If your request is approved, the amount of time it takes to see the correction varies by provider. The average is a month or more.
