Steps
- Insert your SD card. The process is a bit different on eachdevice.
- Power on your Android device.
- Open your Android's Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Storage.
- Scroll down to your SD card.
- Tap Format SD Card or Erase SD Card.
- Tap Format SD Card or Erase SD Card to confirm.
It is not necessary to format your SDcard, sometimes the SD card may not be formattedcorrectly or may have some virus on it, so it is generally advisedto format it and then use it. If there is someimportant data on it or if your are feeling lazy, just put thecard in and see if it works or not.
