- Launch the Safari app on your iPad by tapping its icon on the Home screen.
- Tap the Bookmarks button, which is identified by a small book-shaped icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Tap the "Edit" button in the upper right corner of the "Bookmarks" window.
- Tap the subfolder that you want to rename.
To change a bookmark name or location, tap Edit and then tap the bookmark. The Edit Bookmark screen appears, showing the name, URL, and location of the bookmark already filled in. Tap the fields you want to change. In the Name field, tap the X in the gray circle and then use the keyboard to enter a new title.
Safari in iOS 13 includes a new feature that lets you bookmark all of your open tabs. To get to it, long press on the bookmark icon at the bottom of the Safari window, and then choose "Add Bookmarks for [x] Tabs."
In Safari, navigate to the website you want to save as a bookmark. Touch and hold the Bookmarks icon at the bottom of the screen. Tap Add Bookmark. Give the bookmark a title, and tap the icon under Location to select the folder where you want to save it.
Open a bookmark

- At the top right, tap More. Bookmarks. If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap Star .
- Find and tap a bookmark.
To check all your bookmark folders:

- If you're in a folder, at the top left, tap Back .
- Open each folder and look for your bookmark.
Open a Safari window, click on the bookmarks view (the book icon top left) go to the bookmarks menu in the top menu bar and select new bookmark folder then name it. Drag the relevant bookmarks to that folder. You can also make sub folders by clicking on the parent folder and following the same process.

iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
- Turn on Bookmarks and update your device. Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud and make sure that Safari is turned on.

- Restart Safari.
- Turn off iCloud Bookmarks and turn it back on.
- Restart your device.

How to choose where Safari for iOS stores Favorites
- Step 1: Open Settings on your iOS device.
- Step 2: Tap on the Safari section.
- Step 3: Now tap on the Favorites option under the General heading.
- Step 4: Lastly, select a bookmark folder to set as your Favorites.
There are one or two special bookmark folders. One is called Favorites. Any bookmark you save in Favorites will also show up in the Safari bookmarks bar on iPad and Mac. If you sync your Safari settings via iCloud, then these favorites will also sync.

Google Chrome stores the bookmark and bookmark backup file in a long path into the Windows file system. The location of the file is in your user directory in the path "AppDataLocalGoogleChromeUser DataDefault." If you want to modify or delete the bookmarks file for some reason, you should exit Google Chrome first.
Organize bookmarks
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click Bookmarks. Bookmark Manager.
- Browse to the folder you want to organize.
- Above your bookmarks, click Organize.
- Click Reorder by Title. Your bookmarks will be listed in alphabetical order.
Open Safari and tap the bookmarks icon at the bottom (iPhone) or top (iPad) of the screen. Tap History, near the top of your list of bookmarks. Tap Clear at the bottom and select how far back you want to delete the history, or swipe left across an entry to delete that.
Click Insert > Bookmark. Click either Name or Location to sort the list of bookmarks in the document. Click the name of the bookmark you want to delete, and then click Delete. If you have inserted a hyperlink to the deleted bookmark, right-click the linked text and then click Remove Hyperlink.
Remove a bookmark from the bar
At the top, in the bookmarks bar, right-click (Windows) or control-click (Mac) the bookmark. Select Delete.Hold the "Ctrl" key and click each bookmark you want to remove to select multiple bookmarks. Press "Delete" to remove the bookmarks and then close the Library window.

Is there an easier way to remove synced bookmarks from my google account? Thank you. to delete quickly bookmarks from Chrome, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A to select all the folders and bookmarks, then hit Delete on the right upper corner. There is no option to delete this data.
Your saved bookmarks and passwords won't be cleared or changed.

- At the bottom, click Advanced. Chromebook, Linux, and Mac: Under "Reset Settings," click Restore settings to their original defaults. Reset Settings.
