In the Safari app on your Mac, do any of the following: Change the items in the toolbar: Choose View > Customize Toolbar, then add, remove, and rearrange toolbar items by dragging them. Show or hide the toolbar in full-screen view: While in full-screen view, choose View > Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen.
Once you have a Safari window up, click on the icon that looks like a small gear box at the top-right side of the screen. This will bring up a drop-down menu, and from the options displayed, select “Preferences” to open your Safari Preferences. Look for the Appearance pane of Safari Preferences.

To display the menu bar in Safari for Windows, select the Settings gear in the top-right corner of the browser window, then select Show Menu Bar. Once the menu bar is enabled, you can find all of its submenus including File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Window, and Help.
If you're on an Android device, the process is slightly different. Open the three-dot menu, then tap Settings > General > Home > Homepage > Custom, and enter in the field. Make sure the switch next to new tabs is turned on if you want you want Google to appear in each new tab.
Go to the Safari View menu and select Show Toolbar. That's it! If you started with a minimalist window, you'll now see a URL address bar at the top of the screen.

"What's on my screen," previously known as "Now on Tap," is one of the suggestion chips that show up when you activate Assistant (the old interface, not the Pixel 4's new one) in any app on your phone. It doesn't appear if you're on the homescreen, because it needs something to be on the screen to do its thing.

You can't go into your settings and then apps and then download it from there.

How to Add Website Apps to the iPhone Home Screen

In most cases, the problem of a Missing Safari Icon on iPhone ends up being due to the Safari icon being hidden on one of the Home Screens or being hidden in one of the Folders. Another common reason for missing Safari Icon on iPhone is due to the Safari App being restricted under Screen Time Settings.
If you don't see Show Favorites, choose Safari > Preferences, click General, then click the “New windows open with” pop-up menu and choose Favorites. If you don't see the Favorites page in new tabs, change settings in Change General preferences in Safari on Mac.
You should find the option to “Show Icons in Tabs.” Enable this setting and you should see favicons while browsing. Mac users need to open Safari, then click Safari > Preferences in the menu bar. Head to the “Tabs” section, then make sure “Show website icons in tabs” is checked.
If you've suddenly lost your bookmarks, or they are not syncing, the first thing you should do is close and re-open the Safari app. Sometimes a simple restart of the app can fix the missing bookmarks. Go to Settings > iCloud, and then switch the Safari setting to OFF on both your iPad and iPhone.
Swipe down from the middle of any home screen and type Safari into the search field at the top of the screen. If it is in a folder, it will show the folder on the right of the app name after you tap on the app when it appears in the search.
Check Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure that Safari is set to On. If it is, look on all your screens and inside all your folders as you can't delete it. If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. Safari is no longer available.
How to Enable Website Icons / favicons in Safari for Mac
- Open the Safari app on the Mac if you haven't done so already.
- Pull down the Safari menu and choose “Preferences”
- Choose “Tabs”
- Toggle the switch for “Show website icons in tabs” so that it's checked and enabled.
