Users don't need to do much to access Chromecast without a WiFi connection. Simply tap the Chromecast button and select “Nearby Devices”. Chromecast's APIs allow it to know which devices are in the room, allowing outside users to fully control Chromecast from the cloud.
You can use a Google HOME (regular, Max, or Mini) to push audio to a Bluetooth speaker or headphone. CHROMECAST can't do that. Notice that it says "Stream music playing on Google Home to your favourite Bluetooth speakers or headphones". Homes have a Bluetooth transmitter in them.
Right-click the speaker icon in the lower right side of the Desktop (screen). Select Sound settings. In the top you will see the output device already in use. Click on the box and select another option.
There's no way for you to connect a set of speakers to it. You could, however, try to connect your speakers to the TV's audio output and connect the Chromecast 2 to the TV's HDMI input. This should allow you to use your speakers for audio.
Step 1: Open the app you're going to use to cast to your TV/monitor. Connect it to the Chromecast so that it's ready to cast and select the media you want to play. Don't Play it just yet. Turn the volume down if your TV has speakers so that no audio comes through them at all.
Just connect to a Chromecast or another DLNA enabled device by tapping the “Cast” button in the lower left-hand corner of the app. Select the video you want to cast then tap on “Route Audio To Device” on the player then check the option.
First you will have to put the audio jack adaptor on the male end of the RCA Y adaptor. Then plug the double sided AV cable into the female end of the RCA Y adaptor. (Red and White only!) Plug the AV cable into your TV and plug the audio jack adaptor into your device.
