Keep your desktop app up to date, so that any patches Zoom makes to security vulnerabilities are added to your device. If you want to be extra careful, use Zoom only on a mobile device, such as an iPad or an Android phone, because these versions go through review in the app stores.
To connect to a compatible video device, click Use video system. Click Join Meeting. If you're on the go, you can join your meeting from your Apple or Android phone, tablet or Apple watch using Webex mobile app. You'll be able to use video, chat with other participants, and share content.
In order to participate in a WebEx session, you need to install a WebEx extension. The WebEx extension can be installed any time before the meeting starts. Getting WebEx to work with Windows 10
- Download and install the IE Tab extension for Chrome.
- Open the tab by clicking on its icon in the top-right of Chrome.
- In the tab's address bar, paste in the URL for your webex meeting.
You can join a Webex meeting from your Android device in any of the following ways: Sign in to your Webex account and: Swipe left to My Meetings and tap Join on the meeting entry. Tap Join Meeting, enter the meeting number, Personal Room URL, or host's username, and then tap Join.
To test your WebEx meeting follow this step by step guide:
- Choose your desktop or mobile device.
- Enter your name.
- Enter your email address.

Use the web app to join a Webex meeting from your browser. This is the easiest way to join if you're using a Chromebook, a Linux computer, or you simply don't want to download anything. Open your email invite, and click Join. Webex starts preparing to connect you to your meeting.

- Use computer for audio (default) ? Use your computer with a headset or speakers.
- Call in ? If you prefer to use your phone for audio, dial in when the meeting starts.
Passwords are normally included in the meeting invitation or registration confirmation email. If you did not receive a meeting invitation or registration confirmation, contact the meeting host for further assistance.
