How to activate your card
- Log in to ANZ Internet Banking and select Activate an ANZ Card from the Settings menu.
- By phone: call 1800 652 033 (or +61 3 8699 6996 from overseas) any time.
- At an ANZ branch: speak to our friendly staff.
Register for Internet Banking
- Navigate to the ANZ Internet Banking registration page on our website by clicking the Register link under the Log on button on the home page.
- Enter your details in the relevant fields.
- Choose a password.
- Read the Electronic Banking Conditions of Use and tick the tick box.
- Click Continue.
You can activate your ANZ Card using the ANZ App. Log in to the ANZ App, tap 'More' on the Accounts screen and then 'Activate Card'.
Make the most of the ANZ App
- Download the ANZ App on an Android device.
- Activate your eligible card and set your card PIN.
- Change your card PIN in the ANZ App.
- Temporarily block and unblock your card.
- Create a PayID to help you get paid more quickly.
- Make a Fast Payment with PayID.
- See your statements in the ANZ App.
Getting the
ANZ goMoney app is easy.
Get ANZ goMoney
- Install. Search for ANZ goMoney NZ in the Google Play Store or App Store and install.
- Register. If you're already registered for goMoney on a different device, OR are registered for Internet Banking, simply log on using your Customer Number and password.
- Personalise.
Business banking on the goANZ goMoney lets you view your personal and business accounts as one list (including KiwiSaver, Foreign Currency Accounts and Bonus Bonds). transfer money between your accounts (including Foreign Currency Accounts) make payments to a new person, saved payee, registered biller, or IRD.
ANZ Internet Banking lets you manage your eligible accounts and pay your bills from your compatible devices. Wherever you log in, relax knowing that your online banking's protected by ANZ security.

We take the money from your account immediately and send those payments to other banks throughout the day on business days from 9am. If you set up the payment after 10pm or on a non-business day, we'll send the payment on the morning of the next business day.
Customers with personal accounts can get instant access to higher daily Pay Anyone limits of $15,000 or $25,000; and. Customers with business accounts can get instant access to a higher daily Pay Anyone limit of $50,000.
To make a payment to a BSB and Account number, you'll need to be logged in to ANZ Internet Banking.
- Step 1 - Navigate to "Pay Anyone"
- Step 2 - Select an account to make your payment from.
- Step 3 - Select a BSB and Account number to make a payment to.
- Step 4 - Enter the payment details.
- Step 5 - Select your payment schedule.
If you're registered for ANZ Shield:Customers with personal accounts can get instant access to higher daily Pay Anyone limits of $15,000 or $25,000; and. Customers with business accounts can get instant access to a higher daily Pay Anyone limit of $50,000.
Payments made using Faster Payments will sometimes be received immediately after leaving your account, but can sometimes take up to 2 hours. This option is free, available 24 hours a day and typically used in online banking, mobile apps, over the phone or in branch.
Customers with personal accounts may request daily limits of $1,000, $5,000 or $10,000. Customers with business accounts may request daily limits of $5,000, $10,000, $15,000 or $25,000. If you are an ANZ Internet Banking for Business user you may request a daily Pay Anyone limit of up to $1,000,000.
Make sure your ANZ debit card is linked to either Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay. Locate your nearest ANZ ATM. Go into your digital wallet app and select your ANZ debit card. Tap your phone on the contactless symbol on the ATM and enter your PIN (it's like using your debit card, but with your phone instead!).
First time payments may be held for 24 hours as a security measure. Transfers to other Australian financial institutions are generally available in the recipient's account within 1–2 business days when made before 6pm (Sydney / Melbourne time) on a business day.
Customers of ANZ can now leave their wallets at home and withdraw cash from the Australian bank's ATMs with their mobile phones via Apple Pay and Google Pay. The bank says that more than one million of its customers use digital wallets loaded with an ANZ-issued card.

- Confirm your account number.
A PayID is a simplified payment address that's linked to a bank account and capable of receiving payments. ANZ allows you to link a mobile number, email address or ABN/ACN with an eligible ANZ bank account to create a PayID.
ANZ Shield is a free security app for Android and iPhone. It allows you to generate a one time passcode - known as a Shield Code - to authenticate certain ANZ Internet Banking payments and activities.
To set account notifications, you'll need to be logged in to ANZ Internet Banking.
- Step 1 – Navigate to “Account notifications” Go to the “Settings” menu.
- Step 2 – Get started.
- Step 3 – Select where you'd like your notifications to be sent.
- Step 4 – Set payee list notifications.
- Step 5 – Set notifications for your accounts.
Voice ID on the ANZ App
- You can now make Pay Anyone payments over $1,000 and BPAY® payments over $10,000 from the ANZ app, conveniently and securely using Voice ID3
- No extra passwords or codes to remember, just say the phrase "my voice confirms my identity“
How to change a PIN. Log in to the ANZ App, then tap on your account. Tap Manage, then Manage Card. From there, you'll be able to follow the prompts to change your PIN.
Transactions through mobile banking depend on the features of the mobile banking app provided and typically includes obtaining account balances and lists of latest transactions, electronic bill payments, remote check deposits, P2P payments, and funds transfers between a customer's or another's accounts.
